Ok this episode broke my freakin HEART! I cannot physically see my babies cry or it kills me. But I have a such a new perspective on a lot of these members and even confirmed my feelings for some. I have been saying for a while Junghwan is my silent little gem and even in this episode we could see how hard he has worked and improved. ):

KiKi i'm with you. YG is such a b8tch most of the time, but you have to understand that YG artist wouldn't be this good if not for his attitude. In the next eps you will see that most of the trainees will prefer YG's opinion over others. YG have to do it to prepare them with the K-industry. K-Industry is a monster world, you have to be the toughest to last. YG artist have so much freedom in their work and music once they debuted that's why he has to push them to show their maximum potential. Good is not good enough for YG, you need to be the best. If you know all YG artists are no joke, YG does not make Idols, YG makes ARTIST. QUALITY is more important. But i'm with you, i want to strangle him while watching the whole YGTB. Love your reactions, always looking forward. See you in ep 4. Prepare your tissue box, it will get harder.

ahaha you better prepare your tissue box, this show doesn't get any less emotional and it'll be worse for you because your CIX biases are Byounggon and Seunghun too and they (esp Seunghun) struggle quite a bit in this show. I really rooted for Seunghun when watching this show in real time so it was difficult sighs but I believe they are all where they are meant to be today! I am forever amused at your comments towards YG and sometimes I must admit, same gurl same but one thing I have always respected YG for is his ability to spot talent. He's looking for unique people with the drive to succeed and improve (hence his comment to Junhyuk about how he didn't see anything new/better than what he expected) which is important because the gods know that YG artists get a ton of hate for just existing so they need to literally be able to shut haters down with pure undeniable talent. You'll see that throughout the course of the show when he focuses on certain people even though everyone else (aka the audience) was like ??? at the time. Some people just can spot potential I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just a note about pronouncing the Japanese members' names! Putting the emphasis on the 1st syllable is more accurate. *HA*ruto instead of ha*RU*to/*A*sahi instead of a*SA*hi. 🤗

The tea with Yoonbin (it’s not really tea) is just that he left TREASURE because he didn’t feel like he suited the musical style that TREASURE was going for. Basically, there was just a difference in music style and that’s it, nothing too dramatic.

Keita is debuting under Rain's company. I really liked him, his talent is great. It's like if Jihoon and YeDam is in 1 body but japanese, it'd be Keita. He trained for more than 5 years in YG but I thought he wore like a mask of being cool instead of letting his own personality shine, I think that was his downfall no matter the talent he has. Yoonbin really wanted to debut as a solo artist, he has his own tracks out on Soundcloud and YT. He's like a solo Tablo from Epik High, felt like he's abit too mature/serious to be taking on the type of music Treasure is aiming for. Jun Hyuk moved back to Canada and is not going back to Korea. He's hella tall now and he released independent tracks, voice got smoother and 😩 https://youtu.be/oVPQNG6vbR4 judge it for yourself! I think not many ppl know what he had been upto. Jyun Hao and Mahiro are debuting under a japanese company together. Pressure does make diamonds and that's why this is such a grueling show (just like WIN: Who Is Next). It'll get a whole lot harder but the growth each trainee showed in this short amount of time vs the years they trained for, is just awesome to watch. Really heartbreaking but I think win or lose, they all grew for the better. Always will remember everyone in this show.

Aside from Seokhwa, alot of these boys were on PDX too. Midam and Yoshi's bestfriend Mahiro were also there as well as Jhun Yao. Mahiro and JY represented YG. Yeongseob (the rapper fr Treasure C) debuted last year in P1Harmony. Alot of these boys will also be debuting in groups this year. Cant wait for the next episodes.

Yoonbin was good, right? He was about to debut with Treasure 13 but he left bcos he thought he has a different musical style compared to what treasure was going for. He still supports the boys though. I remember he would post teasers of treasure comebacks on his IG stories :) so that's just it. Like Yoonbin, that lil legend Junhyuk also has his own yt channel now where he shares his music.

I’ve seen all these episodes so many times you’d think I’d get used to the emotions...but NOPE! I have to do a cleanse by watching all the debut videos of the trainees who have debuted and checking in on others to see if there is new news. But for real, survival shows...sigh. I was the same way after No Mercy, when I realized Minkyun debuted in ONF, I almost lost it! Fun fact Seokwon from No Mercy is debuting with Ciipher aka Rain’s new boy group with former PDX, YGTB, and UnderNinteen contestants. Rain said “Let me collect all the survival trainees!”

KIKILEE

Lmao right?! I have the exact same feelings! This show is throwing me into an emotional loop.

KIKILEE

Ahhh yes I understand totally! I just wish he would give some of them a chance or recognize their hard work but I get he wants the best of everyone!

KIKILEE

I’M NOT READY. I’m already emo as hell in the first few episodes like I’m gonna CRY

KIKILEE

Ahhh yes I know I know! I think I saw more recently that teumes were upset with him because he was claiming that he was still a part of the group and people were salty bc it looked like it diminished the work they all put in just them! Not sure how accurate it is but I remember some people telling me about it

KIKILEE

Ok Keita! I actually really like him as well so I’m happy he’s doing well! Ohhhh I wanna look up Jun Hyuk! He’s so talented

KIKILEE

Oh yes yes of course! I think people may understand what I mean when I say tea, not that anything is bad or problematic! I just remember teumes upset that he claimed he was still a part of the group looking like he took credit for their hard work on debut

Gotkatzy

Hmm I haven’t seen any teumes upset about Yoonbin. I remember some teumes being upset about Yoonbin’s IG LIVE when a fan asked if he missed TREASURE and he said “No not really” but I think he wanted to avoid talking about it at that point cuz he left. But he got some hate for saying “ NO” and some teumes were disappointed and mad at Yoonbin for saying NO. However, Yoonbin showed support to TREASURE quietly...for example.. liking TREASURE debut posts and he did have an IG STORY promoting Yedam’s “WAYO”. He also was asked if he liked the song on IG LIVE and he says YES, it’s a nice song.. he liked it. For the most part...he doesn’t really comment or answer questions pertaining to YGE or TREASURE. But he still gives support and love in other ways. Yoonbin will always be TREASURE’s handsome and talented hidden gem. 🥰

Oh, I think I missed that one lol. But I believe things have worked out for the better, for both trsr and yoonbin. <3

I know you hate yg that much but without him there will be no asahi and Jaehyuk in treasure.. Before we silver boy fans hate the fact that jungwan and Jaehyuk got in and Bx and seunghun was elimited. We want team a to debut but as you see YG prove us wrong. Bx and seunghun doesn't fit to treasure. They are so manly they fit CIX more. I am glad they debut there. I am now inlove with those kids YG picks. Literally he is right.

I agree - I dont like YHS because I think sometimes the things he says and the way he says it - brutal but also many time unneccessary (KPOP STAR days) That goes for most male CEOs, Dir., and all KPOP labels. Its the same here in the USA too. YHS has an eye for talent - its no coincidence that many 4th gen groups debuting 2020/2021 was from YGE during Treasure Box. In hindsight, we now know that what happened also happened the way it was supposed to - otherwise we wouldn't have Treasure 12. It would have been Treasure 7 - Magnum 6 (maybe 5) - but for sure the Magnum line would not have been the same 6 people. The amount of talent was insane for only 7 spots.

Hi Chrissy! Okay so you probably see my comments and know I’m on a binge lol. I’m still gonna watch the rest of ygtb with you but won’t be commenting every episode after this ^-^;; cause I feel like I’m doing it too much. But anyways...imagine the audacity with YoonBin, Haruto, Yoshi, and Hyunsuk as our rap line OOF YES but I respect Bin’s decision to pursue his own music style. The Japanese rapper you noticed is Keita. Honestly, was rooting for him along with Treasure A and C lol so basically everyone lol (how to choose). As for Jun Hyuk(?), little cutie rapper has moved back to Canada, I believe. He started his own YouTube channel. Would you like a link? As for Midam, he left YG but I remember him in a teaser for Produce. Jyun Hao and Mahiro join in the season after I believe (cmiiw). Other Treasure B and C members have joined in debut line ups for upcoming groups so looking forward to possible interactions with our boys xD And just a tidbit, when there’s news that a bunch of trainees in YG have left, it’s usually a sign that they’ve chosen a new line up for a new debut group. Before BLACKPINK’s debut announcement, articles were written how a bunch girl trainees were leaving YG. This can be seen during Treasure Box as they were dismissing trainees before the start of the survival as well as in later episodes and after. Okay, that’s all! Thank you for the great reaction as always!
