July 2023 Update #2 (Patreon)

James: Hey folks, we're back with a quick update.

Mistress Cereza: Hello, my dears.

James: The summer of health challenges continues, I'm sorry to report.

Mistress Cereza: After three years of successfully evading it, I somehow contracted Covid. I feel like crap, but I'm vaccinated and on anti-virals, so I'm doing okay. The first day I had symptoms was terrible, but it's gotten easier with meds and rest. Right now it feels like a worse than average cold/fever. That, and my eyeballs ache.

James: I'm looking after her while she quarantines and recovers. I wear a mask whenever I'm outside of my den, so hopefully I'll dodge this bullet, but we'll see... As for you, Mistress, don't worry about the Mistress Speaks this month if you're not in the mood.

Mistress Cereza: No, I think I will do it, assuming I don't get any worse. This is the third day of my staying inside and I'm already losing my mind. One can only watch so much TV before wanting to do anything else.

James: As long as you feel up to it. I'm working on chapter 5 of Biblical Proportions, which will be out soon. After that, you'll have the next Quickie coming. There's still a few days left to vote, but there appears to be a runaway victor. "Pool Boy" is winning handily on both Patreon and SS.

Mistress Cereza: Wow, cross-platform agreement, at last!

James: Indeed! After that will be Fast Times At Eden S&M and the new fantasy series I mentioned previously. I'm hoping to get all of those written before we take our one week summer vacation some time in mid August.

Mistress Cereza: If we can still take that trip will be dependent on my recovery and James not getting infected.

James: Yeah, it's all up in the air right now. But assuming that goes forward as planned, when we get back, I'll be working on the next chapters of Long Is The Way and Athena Corp Chronicles.

Mistress Cereza: This update wasn't as quick as you thought, huh?

James: I guess I underestimated how much news we had to share.

Mistress Cereza: Stay cool my cherubs. And be mindful that the virus is still out there. It can get you, even during the summer.
