Happy fall, my dears!

I hope you're enjoying the cool down as the leaves start to change colors. I've always liked autumn best of the four seasons. It represents entropy, decay and death, which is pretty metal when you think about. It doesn't hurt that Halloween is my favorite holiday, either. The costumes allow everyone to express themselves in a fun and unique way. Plus it's the only day I can put on something from my Femdom wardrobe and get away with wearing it in polite company.

As I mentioned in the previous update, I don't have a single, focused topic for this edition of Mistress Speaks. I'd like to go over some odds and ends. First of all, my two latest polls!

Where it concerns Prison School, most of you voted for either "Seen it. Meh." or "Haven't seen it. Pass." Probably for the best. While it was funny and enjoyable at times, it did drag past a certain point and it wasn't a good look for the Femdom characters involved.

It's difficult, while watching Femdom depicted in popular media, to not be continually disappointed. On top of it being such a taboo subject, it means different things to different people. Finding a depiction that aligns perfectly with what you want from it is incredibly rare. I guess that's just our cross to bear...

As for the poll about the 2009 KU Study, your answers lined up pretty well with my expectations and the results of the paper.

Most of you preferred a purely Femdom / malesub dynamic, but those who liked malesub and femsub weren't far behind. Respondents who were also interested in Maledom content came in third, but there was a good amount of those too.

Only a few of you showed any interest in reversing the Femdom dynamic, personally. A decent chunk of you reported scoring high on neuroticism. And a high number of you indicated you were in high stress / high responsibility jobs.

The vast majority of these findings correlate with the study, painting an ever more clear and revealing picture of the type of men who enjoy forceful submission fantasy. Thank you for taking part!

For my next topic, I wanted to bring up the wonderful fetish/smut artist Sleepy Gimp. I'm not going to do a full artist profile on him, but James and I have been enjoying his content, so I thought it deserved a mention.

Sleepy Gimp creates almost exclusively Femdom content with plenty of Femdom on male and Femdom on female scenes. He loves drawing elaborate bondage scenarios and isn't shy with the use of latex and leather. His BDSM comics are definitely worth checking out.

Now it's time to choose which Femdom movie I'll be watching and reviewing next. Of these four, I've only seen "Preaching To The Perverted", which I watched many years ago, so I'm due for a re-watch. I'm very much looking forward to seeing all of these films, eventually. Since you may or may not have heard of them, I'll provide a brief description of each to help you decide.

1. Mistress (1976)

A common thief breaks into the house of a professional dominatrix and begins to help her "train" her clients. Though this world is alien to his experience, he finds himself falling in love with her.

2. Bitter Moon (1992)

A mild-mannered man attempts to rekindle the sexual fire in his marriage while on a cruise. This is complicated when he develops an irresistible infatuation with an eccentric paraplegic's wife, a woman with a taste for the dark side.

3. Preaching To The Perverted (1997)

While working for a British politician, an IT professional infiltrates a BDSM club and falls for the head dominatrix.

4. Going Under (2004)

The erotic fantasies of an obsessive psychotherapist slowly begin to bleed into reality when his relationship with his longtime dominatrix extends beyond the dungeon.
