September 2022 Update #2 (Patreon)

James: Hi, friends. We're back with an update.

Mistress Cereza: Hello, dears.

James: I have the next couple commissions in the pipeline and I'm working on one now. The timing on this worked out really well since I'm not planning to do a Halloween story this year and this new stand-alone piece will be a bit spooky, so it will fill in nicely.

Mistress Cereza: Do we have a title and/or summary?

James: Yes, it's called "The Spark." I don't want to give too much away, but it's about an author with writer's block who goes to a remote location to find his mojo and things start getting freaky.

Mistress Cereza: A writer, huh? How very meta.

James: Hey, I've written stories about people in dozens of other professions. You had to know I'd get around to portraying a writer eventually. :)

Mistress Cereza: I look forward to it. While you're working on that, I'll put out another Mistress Speaks.

James: You've picked a topic for this month?

Mistress Cereza: I haven't settled on one, but that's ok. I think I might cover some odds and ends this time around. There's lots to talk about and my posts don't always have to be hyper focused.

James: Fair enough. I guess that's all for now, then?
