EP. 171: Black, Pregnant, and Abroad Feat. Monique Doughty (Patreon)
Content
Welcome the Tribe July!
We all know raising a baby and a woman takes a village and we are excited to kick off this month’s first episode recorded in Costa Rica with @iamnursemo 🤎
She is an ex travel nurse turned motivational speaker/wellness coach who lives abroad in Costa Rica and is helping black women heal and walk into their most authentic selves.
This week @iamnursemo shares how her psychedelic experience provided her with the clarity she needed to leave her old life as a travel nurse in the US and live a natural and minimalist life in Costa Rica.
She also shares how she’s found community abroad.
Mo also shares why she has given her unborn child an identity before birth and why it’s important for women to rethink their “white picket fence” model.
Enjoy!
