Unfortunately, the HTML dragon was not so easy to defeat as I had expected. I am now fighting an Undead HTLM Bonerdagon. Wish me luck. (Different tools react differently to tables being pasted into them. Scrivener vs LibreOffice vs Royal Road. When I draw my sword, it makes a ‘CSS’ sound now.)

Has anyone thought that when he does get back to the town and if he can reach an agreement with the guards the whole town will be shit free.

Is it time for a boss fight? Also it was interesting what Ameliah said about Rain....him being powerful enough that it would be scary if he goes the wrong path, and it wasn't that far-fetched of a guess because he would have gone that path or align more towards that path if Jamus didn't helped him when he was kicked out... I feel like it might be foreshadowing what Ameliah said, not for him to become a tyrant or a total evil monster but more of him becoming mature enough to be a leader or an important figure in this world One of my guesses as to why he would need to mature that much is because: 1- In the future he might want to correct the way people think about other species like Tallheart's. Just like Ameliah said on this chapter. 2- Go against the empire that is using the Aura mages as slaves, so he can liberate them, and make the Aura build rise in fame. Although I'm looking too much into the future, and the second point doesn't seem to align so far with Rain, he doesn't have any heroism behavior.... What I really want is to see him kicking the ass of the dude who threw him out of the city, or at least take the bag of 500 tel and throw it at his face like "here is your tel, you greedy motherfucker!", Although that is also something he wouldn't do... It seems like Val personality is also rubbing off on me

I feel like Rain is reaching a point soon where his build is going to come together and he's going to be ridiculous. I mean when he unlocks Prismatic Intent and can run 2 damage Auras at once and still be gaining mana. I'm surprised that there's no Debuff Aura Tree though, or if there is it hasn't been shown. I guess since Auras default to hitting everything it would be a pretty useless tree for most people, But with IFF it would be really nice for Rain. I'd like to see him find a way to research skills when he gets back, it'd be cool if he could cherry pick some skills from other trees that help his build, maybe something that increases the lowering the threshold of secondary effects so his Refrigerate freezes easier.

I don’t want him to go against the Empire. It is too cliche. As for the guild leader, Rain was in the wrong. Yelling or cursing at him is what a kid would do. Better to apologize and move on.

It would be great to see him get some rings so his other stats aren't so pitiful. Once he maxes IFF he also should develop his own fighting style which would be interesting. Hopefully he won't spend100percent of his time reliant on group formations, or at least not passively sitting in the back/ always being prototected

Are some of the hidden auras unlocked by mastering skills from other trees? while having channel mastery or something to channel the skill into an aura??

If high tier auras are like reality bending domains, it would be pretty insane if Rain can pull off something like Unlimited Blade Works from Fate/stay night

Hmmm, look at it from the guild leaders perspective, some idiot newbie caused a panic in town which he now has to spend his valuable time dealing with. Since it is in adventurers guild you also figure it’s gonna be a bit more rough and tumble then say the seamstress guild. He is the head murderer hobo you don’t get that position by handing out kittens and hugs. Also with the power rain has And the sheer number of skills available there is a very good reason why magic isn’t allowed in town

Then people would bling up before a dungeon or a hard fight. We don’t see it or anyone mention it so there is probably a drawback.
