Again took longer than expected, but this time it was because the chapter was being difficult. I had to write it twice, and it still came out on the shorter side. I wanted to add another scene to hit my word count target, but it just didn't fit, whether I'm speaking thematically or spatially. The more I worked on that scene, the more rushed/tacked-on it felt, and it quickly became clear it needed to be its own chapter. That's for next time. For now, process aside, I'm still a fan of how this one came out. Hope you enjoy!
