So, in the manga Karacka literally stabs Kageyama in the back. They didn't take the knife out until tending to his wounds, which does help his chances some, but the lack of blood is really less effecive. "Queen" was an odd choice for the subtitles to go for, Virgo is supposed to suggest "dominatrix" after looking at the whip. They also said to "dispose" of Kage when it was supposed to be to "kill" him, so I think they've been slightly censored. I only started watching Re:Zero recently (and I only just met the maids) so Virgo was just Virgo to me. She is one of the more normal looking spirits and while it could have been interesting for her to remain buffer, I get why she isn't.
