experimenting with partial Joint Controller Morphs aka pJCM's. i made 3 of them all for the left shoulder (our right), and the end result is really amazing. no stretching of polygons what so ever and it fits perfectly

Almost as good as a new Daz outfit 😁

Yay!! You're taking the steps to making clothes usable in Daz. You can become a publish artist at Daz!! Making JCMs should be easy with Marvelous Designer. I think there's a lot of JCMs to make tho, but very worth it for people who want to use the clothes you make. Just gotta package it into a separate folder if you want to distribute it for other Daz users. I believe a good rule of thumb is to make sure the base is low poly and in quads. Then we can always sub divide and everything looks better in quads when smoothed. There's always the option of using MD to simulate in the original geometry to get the best look tho and in my opinion much better. I'm trying to use MD more to have better looking clothing.

well, i started looking into it, because of you! i was thinking the same thing, that i would be really easy to make custom JCM's inside MD. but sadly its going to be a bit harder to make them. MD loves to pull and stretch cloth, but JCM's dont like that at all, which results in really bad result. made a new post about it above this one
