ok, so next problem we need to solve. if we have a dress that is tight around the lower part of the figure. how are we going to set that up in daz. the problem with the g8f character is that she starts with her legs wide open. so using the transfer utility is out of the question. also dforce is not going to like this at all when using the default settings.

i can widen up the dress, so it will fit the standard a-pose, but then we lose all tightness of the dress after draping.

i think i found a way around all this, but im not sure if this is actually the way to go. especially on more curvy characters then im not sure how the dress will hold up. going to do some more testing

Hm, interesting. I've seen some dforce clothes that are basically very elastic, and when you start simulating they tighten. No idea how to achieve that though. I assume it's just about the properties of the dforce material.

well, the problem is when using elastic is, now the shape of the legs are in a cone shape, but we want to end up with more like a round o shape. so you will have to setup some gradient from the bottom up for the elastic to shape the dress. do you remember which outfit it was you saw that on?
