Hi everyone and happy December holidays to those who celebrate!

We've been getting a lot of questions over on discord etc regarding Relationship & Pregnancy Overhaul collection v2. 9: how to install, what files to keep or not, where the settings have gone, how to disable pregnancy walkstyle, etc.

So, here's a quick FAQ:

Is the v2. 9 official release out?
Yes. Check my mod index :)

My teens are getting pregnant and I don't have the teen module!
Please re-download the core Library and Meet&Mingle if you use it; that will fix it. That was a 'bug' due to an oversight on my part!

Where are settings in this version?
By default, under 'actions' then 'rpo special actions'. If you turn on the very first setting in the list, the settings interaction will also appear in the main RPO gameplay menu.

How to turn off the pregnancy walkstyle?
Download the M14 'pregnancy and family tweaks' if you don't have it. Then go in settings, and un-check 'pregnancy walkstyle'.

Should I delete the old walkstyle file from previous versions?
YES

Should I delete the old 'WW compatibility fix file' from previous versions?
YES

Should I delete my settings file from previous versions?
YES

What happens if I don't do those 3 things mentioned above?
The game will break, a little or a lot :/

My game is not loading properly.
You have old files from previous versions still in. Please do a very thorough check through your Mods Folder.

SNB BILLS is throwing an error about this mod.
1st possibility, you first loaded this update on an empty lot in build mode. In this case, the error is ignorable.
2nd possibility: if you did not do the above: 100% you have old files from previous versions still in. Please do a very thorough check through your Mods Folder.

I have empty text everywhere!
You still have old files in, or an old translation.

Why can't my surrogates give birth at the hospital? The option is greyed out...
Because in some people's games, hospital birth breaks the surrogate system.

Is this update compatible with Turbodriver mods?
Yes, exactly the same as always. Check compatibility notes on download pages.

Is the meet&mingle dating app mod compatible with SimDa?
Yes, those mods don't see each other and don't care about each other and don't modify game code, so, they can coexist completely peacefully.

Where did the debug stuff that used to be under 'actions' go?
Turn on the first setting in the list of settings (allow debug and special actions) and you will see all that again :)

I'm having a weird lag issue in saves where I used to have v2.8, and not in new saves.

I’m so sorry if you already mentioned this somewhere. I just found the wonderful whims menstrual cycle model. I just want to know, can I delete that part in your mod and use their mod or should I just add their mod to my game? I don’t need to use it, but it just look like it was a little more in depth when it came to menstrual cycles.

i think i know what i did i deleted eveything from the folder i had the mod in and juss replaced it but i never had that issue i cant find the general setting ur talkin about

Hi, I have a question regarding an issue I've been having with the fertility rate. Before the most recent update under the menu for reproductive health I was able to manually change a sims fertility rate. Since then on all of my sims it hasn't been an option. The rest of the mod has been running perfectly and It's the only issue I've had.

If you mean from 2.8 to 2.9 - that transition can affect fertility data. You can either reassign based on cas in fertility menu of the mod or save without the mod installed and put it back in to reset all of its data on all Sims (loses all mod data though)

i dont use mccommand or whatever it is called, but my teen has had 3 babies so far and my house has 8 in the house, and i just looked and shes having her 4th baby! with a maxed house, and she has all 3 sharing time at her house and there dads.is this a glich or did we get an upgrade house man with your new update?

Hi, a bit strange I would say! what's her fertility? And the guy's? Do you have the teen module or not? And when did you last download? Also no the mod doesn't allow to have more Sims per household than default..... Wonder if I messed up somewhere and it doesn't block pregnancy for full households though, I'll have to Check that up

Hi Lumpinou! I wanted to say that your work is amazing and I am grateful for it! I just have one question- I downloaded the RPO collection recently, but whenever my sim goes in labor, she cannot give home birth or call the midwife, even though she can go to all the appt. whenever it comes up. Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Hi, and thanks! There are no conflicts between my mod and Pandasama's. Can you try in another household with another sim? And also without other mods installed, just mine and panda's?

Hello Lumpinou! Love your mods! I'm having trouble with this latest update. The pie menu lags a lot when clicking on Sims. I followed both procedures listed here and neither worked for me. Not having the mod worked but I REALLY like this mod and would prefer to have it in my game. Removing modules 5,8, and 10 lessens the lag but it is still there. For now, I am just playing without those modules since I can tolerate that lag. The pie menu on objects/non-Sims works perfectly fine. Thank you!

It is a previous save and it seems like it has gone back to the normal amount of lag with previous versions

Not sure if you remember but I asked before about fixing the lag when I accidentally updated without removing all previous files and had good 7 seconds lag on sims. I listened and took out my mods, added them bit by bit over around a week and finally added the woohoo wellness one. It did slow down the interaction menu again to around 3.5 seconds but it was playable. Updated today to the newest changes and followed the step again outlined here of removing it, saving, playing few mins and adding the mod and somehow the lag now decreased to only around 2 seconds when clicking on sims so I'm very happy now with whatever happened 😄

Hi, sounds like an installation problem. The usual things to check: 0. Is your **game up to date**? *My mods work properly only on the Most Recent versions of the game.* 1. Are all .package and / or .TS4SCRIPT files for this mod **extracted from archive files?** *(no .zip or .rar in mods folder)* 2. Are all files **directly in the mods folder OR in one subfolder** in it, but no deeper? 3. Are **cc mods AND script mods both enabled** in game settings? (must check BOTH) - *in game, in options, under 'other settings'* 4. Do you have only **ONE version** of the mod installed at a time and is that version compatible with your game version?

I'm having an issue which might just be a mistake on my end. My married Sims want to break up. I only have an option for temporary separation. I can't seem to split them up through the mod anymore. I'm wondering if it's because he has other relationships.

It's because how the mod loads stuff up on Sims has changed, so, relationships pre existing the update won't be recognized for this. You can manually re enable it if you want, check info in the FAQ for that https://www.patreon.com/posts/76258385

Hi! I am still having issues where I am getting a menu or pop up with no text. I made sure there were no duplicates mods in the folder but it still deleted everything and installed v2.9 again and I am still having the same issue, it was working fine with v2.8. I also have the latest WW installed.

Hi, missing text is always due to one of two things, old files hiding somewhere in, or outdated translations. Can you take ut everything that's in your Mods Folder and put it somewhere else on your computer, then put rpo alone in your empty mods folder and check the text again? This to confirm

Hiya Lumpinou! Hey, I recall that in v2.8, it was possible to select another Sim for the active Sim and set a "Set as recently WooHooed (without protection)" flag, but I can't seem to find that option any longer. I liked using this along with WW in the previous version, since it would allow my Sim to go and get an emergency contraceptive pill after WW's version of Woohoo. Are the emergency contraceptive pills still available in v2.9? I suppose this leads to another question as well: are Sims who do stuff with WW without protection supposed to be recognized by RPO? Because I've noticed that first-time-woohooing Sims don't register their partner with the relbit for "First WooHoo Partner" with the Memory System module, but then again, they do register them in the "Had Woohoo" Life Milestones menu. I'll mention that I have WW's "Override Game/Mods Pregancy" option turned OFF and I'm only using RPO's system. Anyway, sorry for my long questions. I absolutely love your mods and all of your hard work! Thank you for all you do for the Sims' community ^,^

so how do you send the kids with their dad? I see relationships and pregnancies but it just says "ask if they want siblings"

It's on the parent, in their menu. They'll have a custody menu there
