They play Carry On for each season finale intro, and other songs for the pilot episode of each season. This episode introduced one of my all time favorite characters—Castiel!! Fun fact, Misha Collins (the actor who plays Castiel) was originally hired to only be in 3 episodes, but he was such an immediate fan favorite character that they kept him on for more. 🙂 You said “You’re marked. Maybe someone’s claimed ownership of you.” I had to chuckle because Dean and Castiel (or Destiel as it is known) is a HUGE ship in the fandom. The chemistry between these two is off the charts from the first minute. Fun fact 2- the actress who plays the new Ruby met Jared on set and started dating, and they are now married with kids.🙂
