Though this doesn't include a drill that will pierce the heavens, the Pilot Specialization for my Alternate Artificer class does allow you to pilot a Mech! Check out this fusion of the Alternate Artificer and Vessel class that I created as an Archmage commission.

Question: could you infuse an Infusion into the Exoskeleton? Like an armor, gauntlets, or boots Infusion?

You could infuse one Infusion into the Exoskeleton RAW. Most likely one for Armor, but I could see a DM allowing for other options.

I was about to say it felt like it was missing something, then I realized I hadn't noticed the Empowered Exoskeleton's damage resistance. >_> It still feels like it could use one or two more tricks (the Armorer's 9th- and 15th-level abilities are a lot more *interesting* than the Pilot's IMO), but it's probably solid enough.
