Hey all, just finished a major overhaul on my Alternate Artificer. It should be fairly balanced and playable at this point.

I started developing this about a year ago. I've played my Artificer from 1st to 10th level. Started off with the UA: Battle Smith, transitioned to the official Battle Smith, then switched my subclass to the UA: Armorer, and finally the official Armorer. I was personally never satisfied with the Artificer as it is officially published, but I always thought it was close.

In this version, emphasis is shifted from spellcasting to Infusions, Specialties are moved up to 1st level, and the list of Infusions has been massively expanded.

As always, I'm open to feedback as this is definitely my most "raw" Alt class.

A graying gnome hunched over his workbench, carefully adjusting the clockwork mechanism that would power his creation. Before him laid an automaton of intricate iron gears within a suit of plate armor, built to resemble a large gnome. As the tiny inventor affixed his signature mithril mustache to the face plate, a jolt of electric-blue magic flashed from the automaton.
