Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 1 episode 4 of Dr. Stone!!! WHAAATTT!!! I cannot BELIEVE that ending and this show's UTTER NERVE to end me there! This one drove home that while absolutely lethal, Tsukasa does have a code too. And not just him - Senku has his own motivations and honor system as well! I loved the flashback scenes!! But WOW, tell me there was more to that ending!!! Can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

...Kekera's eatin' WELL today, but they're lucky Taiju's hamon barrier can barely handle the onslaught of the Pillar Teen. In this Stone World, he might as well be the Ultimate Teenage Being. Well, that's Dr. Stone. To be honest it was just a short little mini-series that got a 4 episode OVA. The ideas in it were incredibly promising, but I don't think the author had it in him to make a full series out of it... But he wanted to get the idea out, y'know? ...Actually, I'm kidding. Of course there's more Dr. Stone. ;D Unfortunately, there's not a do-it-yourself way out of a broken neck... Especially when the two people who are willing to do it are such sweet dum-dums when it comes to science. Senku shall live on, in the spirit of science. As long as there are curious people in the world, as long as there are people who are determined to figure out what makes things tick... Science will prevail. Senku can't lead us anymore, but his memory will live on and inspire those to move forward in rebuilding civilization... But as benefits of being the audience, *we'll* see more of Senku in the form of Mecha-Senku in the Science Segments to help better explain the science phenomenon happening on screen to the audience.

Wow... Quite a huge cliffhanger. But isn't that too fast to put a cliffhanger like that? I mean... Dr. STONE already has 3 seasons, and Senku gonna died in 4 episodes? I would have to borrow Jotaro's word. "Oh yeah? Then who's gonna replace me as a protagonist?" Anyway, you might start to notice that Senku seems tired from climbing up a mountain, which Yuzuriha doesn't seem to be bothered by it. Meaning that Senku is incredibly weak in physical abilities. But he got brain instead. I never imagine how I'm I gonna survive petrified for 3700 years if I had to continue thinking the whole time, or else I will feel tired and lost concious. Beside, this episode mark the first appearance of my girl Kohaku! Even through only as a cameo, but she's still beautiful! Not gonna lie, Dr. STONE held a lot of good looking girls. Even the extras in first episode are really nice to me. Now. Since we make a hypothesis that Senku will survive. Let's guess for how. I would say that the ending scene was showing Tsukasa landing a critical blow into Senku's neck from the Titan's weak point, with his bare hand, not his weapon. Senku directly get hit. How will he survive? Well, through out these 4 episodes, they already give you a series of hint of how will he survive. Try watch it again if you think a week is too long for the next Dr. STONE episodes. I feel it too. Maybe... Senku might not survive, but he returned as Mega Senku? Mega Senku: I'm Mega Senku... Leader of the Decepticon... Tsukasa: ...Ok, I give up.

There’s a secret pool in the Patreon about how long the JoJo poster stays attached to the ceiling. 😁 “Tsukasa is both a good guy, and a murderer.” The underlying fact here is, a person is complicated, and multiple things. What I do think is interesting about him as a character, is, that you might not agree with the things he’s doing - they’re terrible - but you have a understanding of why he’s feeling the need to do it. The most obvious thing here is the recreation of gunpowder - yeah they’re using it as a deterrent and have no desire to start something with it but - what if someone else gets ahold of it? I did kinda laugh at the factories had time to put up a makeshift fence for the hot spring while doing all this, where’d you get the time? Also, Yuzuriha already admitted she knew what Taiju was going to say, but she’s fine holding it for now. She already knows, it’s Taiju who’s a little slow on the uptake. Speaking of someone else… who is in the forest? (I know who it is… but more on that later! 👀) Yuzuriha (it might be easier to just call her Yuzu) is definitely a really good girl, as we can see. She’s willing to sacrifice herself to keep the peace, but unfortunately, Tsukasa sees through Senku’s bluff. He acts uncaring, but he’s a good guy. But I do have to disagree with you that she’s best girl, because that character has yet to officially enter the scene. The backstory has some interesting elements to it, namely the way Senku and Taiju became friends and how his dad did what he could to help him pursue his love of science. Apparently he sponged up everything he could. As for Taiju and Yuzuriha’s friendship, by the time we see them together the first time in the flashback they’re already together (but not together together). Also, Senku is very interested in space, and wanted to be an astronaut. As for what happened at the end, basically, I kind of view the philosophical differences of Senku and Tsukasa similarly to the ongoing debate in X-Men between Professor Xavier and Magneto. They’re like two sides of a coin that want to be friends but know they can’t convince the other to budge on one important detail. And all I’m going to say about the ending is that Tsukasa hit exactly where he planned to, they showed it. “You cannot end me there!” The rest of us: Get used to this… it ain’t stopping. As for killing off a main character early, huh, I have no idea who you’d be talking about. (I probably shouldn’t rock the boat, or you might lose your head.) (Hey, remember when you were worried what you were gonna do after Apothecary Diaries ended? :) ) As for the next seven days, you already know, there’s plenty of content to keep you busy in the meantime.)

This episode was pure excitement. From the production of gunpowder to the backstory of our 3 main characters, everything was included. I agree with you that making gunpowder was a questionable decision by Senku. It's logical that they can't defeat Tsukasa by other means since not even Taiju can fight him, but gunpowder (pistols) are already signs of war and that's the last thing you need in this Stone World. Making the powder didn't look that difficult, but it's still very dangerous (as we've seen). Dr. Stone takes it with a lot of humor but I wouldn't advise anyone to make gunpowder just like that. Because as Senku mentioned in passing, you could get yourself killed. In Senku's backstory, we also got our first glimpse of his father. Maybe he will play an important role in the story too? I think it's really sweet how happy you were when you found out that Yuzuriha was in the craft club. It would be really cool if you could recreate her figures. In general, Yuzuriha is a cool girl boss. She's not very strong physically, but she's very brave. She won't be the only female character like that. The biggest plot twist in this episode is the murder of senku. Will Senku, along with Jonathan, go down in anime history as one of the fastest MCs to be killed? We'll see :) P.S I know it's hard to wish someone a happy birthday when they've supposedly just killed the MC, but it's our Tsukasa's birthday today 😂🎊🎉

This is interesting— the guy we initially were introduced to that’s taking lives is showing a slight of compassion(?)/appreciation for Senku, his polar opposite, philosophy wise. From this episode I kind of believe Tsukasa does feel what he is doing comes from a good place. I think I understand the reason for his intent better now because of the exchange with Senku. However, as Senku pointed out, Tsukasa may still kill him down the road. But I believe in his words about had they met in the previous world, they might have been good friends. Still if they were friends initially that wouldn’t matter here. Tsukasa would see his chance to create the world in his image. This world is to Tsukasa what the world of science means to Senku. It didn’t hit me till just now. We’re only on episode four but I think I know Senku enough to know that there isn’t much that would sway his position. It’s fascinating how much him and Tsukasa are alike. Senku is all about logic and reasoning— no doubt about it. Yet the smart, all-about-science guy, has two reasons outside of science that he wishes to keep safe, while the force of nature adored for his strengths and skills in the former world has nothing to lose right now. Senku could never be this valuable in the former world since it was already “civilized” and modern. Or maybe yes but we’ll never get to see that. 🤷‍♂️ And here in this world Tsukasa is the one in his element. He’s not going to let anyone stand in way of achieving greatness. 😮 Omg stop! Yuzuriha has the will of a warrior. She not only works a bob but she does crafts! And they achieved space travel! That was beautiful. I see why the two mean so much to Senku who usually runs on sole logic. That’s a childhood and special moment shared with his friends 🥹 Don’t even put that out there. This is not Jojo. She better not die. Oh please she better not 🥲

Haha he really is right?! Omg Pillar Teen / Ultimate Teenage Being, I love it! Hahahaha dang I'd go crazy if this were the end!! That's the thing, like how do you get out of this?! OMG stop, is he for real gone?! Honestly, a mecha version would be interesting (a la JJK lol) but I'm guessing technology hasn't progressed nearly that far yet at this point!!! I'm sweating it out now, whaaaaaatt!!!

It really is! Hahahaha I for real thought of Jojo's right away! Yeah Senku's strength isn't well, physical strength. But that's insane that he stayed awake and counted so long. Ohhhh that's your girl?! Nice! I have no idea how he's gonna survive! Mecha Senku has been suggested, and now we have Mega Senku....!!! I can't wait to find out!!!

Should we be call him Tsukasa or Santana at this point? xD ...But *can* you even trick Jojo Villain Tsukasa in this position? You've seen him catch arrows, you've seen manhandle lions, I don't think he could possibly mess up his shot. Maybe there's some trickery that Senku can do, but you know Tsukasa is going to be like Dio listening for Jotaro's Heart Beat. I don't think he'd double tap(unless he *has* to), but I'm sure he'd check to make sure he did the job right. ...And he's voiced by Bruno, right?! If Tsukasa licks Senku's cheek, he'll know if he's lying! ...They might as well call this show 'Dr. Crack' because of how addicting it is. xD ...But, to paraphrase a certain Golden Bear, the next two episodes are going to make you cry. Heck, I'm tearing up right now just thinking about it.

Yeah it's interesting right? He's very layered!! I agree, Tsukasa, while misguided on his views, has some really strong morals/standards in a lot of ways. I believe they might've been friends in the previous world too :( WHOA!!! You're so right, this is to him what science is to Tsukasa :O I agree, I don't think Senku will be easily swayed. They really are a lot alike in the way they handle things! So ironic that Senku has some reasons outside of his more stoic logic that he wants to deescalate things, while Tsukasa really has nothing to lose. That's so true, both of them have an opportunity to do a lot that they couldn't have in the past/civilized world!! She's totally working that bob right!! And the crafts!!! I just love her!! I love Senku's connection with them too! I know, I know - we gotta stay positive!!!!!!!!!!!

It seriously was! That's the thing, I totally get what a threat Tsukasa is, but guns are a biggie to start introducing, especially this early on. We barely have medicine and things like that, but we're making one of the key ingredients for conflict :/ It does look super dangerous! Haha I agree, no one try it at home!!!!!!!!! Yeah we did get to see his dad, I'm curious if we'll see more of him! I would love to make the little figures <3 She's totally a girl boss!!! Well there's thumbtacks in that poster so it better not be going anywhere :P That's the thing, there's so much more to this than black-and-white with Tsukasa. Exactly, gunpowder is a super volatile thing (in more ways than one) to be introducing right now! Hahaha that's so true about the makeshift fence, priorities I guess :P Yuzu is way easier actually, thanks! Oh I can't believe there's an even better girl coming, what!! Thanks for clarifying that Taiju and Yuzuriha were already friends in the flashback! Actually I can see a lot of Professor X/Magneto in these arguments, that's a good call. OMG don't tell me they're gonna do more endings like this!!!! I'm not gonna survive this series am I!!! OMG you definitely don't wanna open that can of worms re what I was saying about the MC death hahaha. I do remember being sad about Apothecary Diaries, and as much as I miss it, I'm thrilled to be watching this! I know there's lots of other content for me fortunately....but the wait is still killing me!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the other Pillar Men kept referring to Santana as a baby, but I seriously wonder if he would've "grown up" to be a Tsukasa-type. ...Which is funny considering Santana looks like a grown man already. xD Not going to lie, I had to watch the next few episodes right after the cliff-hanger. xD Like when the anime first aired and I ran out of episodes, I ended up binging the manga, LOL. Oh, LOL. xD I imagine your dog wakes up like Kintaros when you mention certain keywords like 'treat' or 'walk'.

Oh I could totally see that! I've read some good fanfics about possible outcomes for Santana and they're really interesting! It is hard to imagine him as a baby in any sense of the word haha. But I could totally see some Tsukasa vibes from him if he'd had the chance! I don't blame you a bit for binge watching after this cliffhanger! OMG I don't blame you for binging the manga either!!! Hahaha actually that's pretty accurate about my dog lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

I had the same problem xD Started the show with my boyfriend, towards the end of Season 3, I couldn't wait anymore (just like with MHA xD) and started reading the Manga and then I finished it, which was a very weird experience for me, since it was the first one I really finished and the feelings that come along with that..... (1st Anime was Death Note and finished it YEARS back, then in 2018 started MHA and Seven Deadly Sins with my Ex and later paused both, started MHA up again at the start of 2023 and been obsessed ever since xD Still need to finish 7DS, but super excited for it and have started JJK by now.) But after getting my current boyfriend into MHA, he got recommended Dr. Stone and passed it on to me and now I've finished the Manga and can't wait to discuss the stuff that hasn't been animated yet! But finishing to read this Manga (that I knew was finished when I started reading) and experiencing the release of the final My Hero Academia chapter.... completely different things.... I still sometimes start crying randomly when I remember that there is no more new official content 😅🤣🤣 Which is why I'm saving the last few School Briefs stories and the second half of Vigilantes for a bad time xD Long story short, I totally agree, this Anime QUICKLY shot up to be right up there with My Hero Academia for me (even if I had watched a bigger selection of anime xD) Also, I'm seeing that you have definitely watched Episodes 7 and 8 by now, that means now you would recognise the character I cosplayed on the other day (when I sent you a link to my Jiro Cosplay xD) of the Connichi 😅🤣🤣 Btw, I have more pictures as Jiro now aaaaand FINALLY together with Kaminari (we still need to do a proper shooting and we're still waiting for the people who took pictures with us to send them to us, because in those, he is using his Prop properly and it's SO awesome, but that's also why I don't have a post yet, but I might send you some of our Cosplay pictures privately on here (if that is possible) before I post them at one point xD ....why did I end up talking about My Hero in a Dr. Stone Reaction?? xD But Seriously, if you keep up this pace with Dr. Stone, I'm gonna have to not care about my finances and upgrade, I'm too excited for all the upcoming stuff xD Oh and I just commented that on the 1x3 reaction earlier, but idk how easy that is to see (especially with the different timings of when it's out), and it's also very obvious from this comment alone, but yes the Manga to Dr. Stone had ended already. I feel like no one read it online, but that's fine xD Season 4 (the last one) is supposed to air in 3 parts beginning in 2025 (whohoooo finally, can't wait to see those characters animated!!) and I'm glad it's in 3 parts, because when I heard that there was only gonna be one more season, I had no idea how they would be able to fit all of the story in there 😅🤣 I figured it would most likely be another OVA between the Seasons, like they did with Ryusui between Season 2 and 3 and they could have totally done that, buuuuut apparently went a different route. I'm very curious! I know at least one Cliffhanger they are gonna throw at us at the end of one of those three parts xD Damn was I shocked when I read that, but that is a very very looooong way away from now for you, so you just enjoy the journey!
