Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 1 episode 3 of Dr. Stone!!! OMG!! This one really drove home to me just how dangerous Tsukasa is. Like he's not just superhuman in strength and agility; he can even keep up with Senku's intellect! Which is REALLY bad! On the plus side, we got our girl back, YAY!!! I just hope she stays okay!!! Please, protect my ship!!! Also, we're forging weapons now.....wow! Can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

Hey Melissa, I've been waiting all day for your Dr. Stone Reaction. I even drove home early from work so I could watch it as early as possible. I'm so glad you like the anime so much and that you would watch the entire season straight through. I was the same way where I started with Dr. Stone. And, of course, I was lucky enough to binge-watch it. In this episode, we saw more of Tsukasa's murderous side. One little detail you may have missed is that right before he killed the kids' parents, he put a pink shell necklace around the girl's neck. This shows that Tsukasa actually really likes children and teenagers, just hates adults for some reason. But it also doesn't mean that he only wants to resurrect teenagers. He just wants to revive adults who share his views. He doesn't want to revive older people, people over 40, who are already stuck in their opinions and won't change them any time soon. And I think he has a problem with these people. But you'll find out exactly why in later episodes. In this episode, we also resurrected Yuzuriha. She's a really sweet girl, a totally lovable character. She and Taiju are a really good match. Taiju really is a totally loyal friend who will do anything to ensure that nothing happens to his friends, even when he is clearly inferior to Tsukasa. We also saw exactly the difference in character between Taiju and Tsukasa in this episode. Both are physically very strong, but Tsukasa also has knowledge of science, which Taiju simply doesn't have. We also learned a lot about Senku in this episode. Namely that he is very motivated to create his version of a new society and although he is actually in favor of peace, he still wants to defeat Tsukasa. The Rivalry between the two is really amusing to watch. Dr. Stone is actually built on a very realistic basis, especially when it comes to science. But if you look at Tsukasa or Taiju, you realize that this is really a gentle anime with totally strong characters that don't correspond to reality. Because I don't think any 16-year-old can catch an arrow flying at 200 kilometers per hour out of the air or kill an adult lion. But that's what Dr. Stone is all about. It's a good mix of reality and fantasy that makes the whole thing so amusing.

“I’ve been counting the seconds until I can watch this show again.” Me: What, like Senku? Also, yeah… I binged this series big time. 😂 Have you put the opening theme as your wake up alarm yet? If you haven’t as an anime fan… you’re going it wrong. 👀 So Senku is obviously a pretty good strategist as well as a scientist but we kind of see that doesn’t work out for him as he’s a bit lacking in the communications department. Taiju is a bit dense, and a little too trusting. We see several times how Senku has jumped to the right conclusions but risks being fouled because Taiju doesn’t understand exactly what he’s doing - like the Yuzuriha revival sequence where he sends Tsukasa on a wild goose chase to throw him off first. Melissa: Please let this ship live, I never ask for anything… The rest of us: We have multiple video evidence examples saying that’s a lie you know. 😅 That being said, we kinda have other things to worry about right now. Speaking of Tsukasa he might not have as much knowledge as Senku, but he’s not stupid, either, as he put together Senku’s plan very quickly. And Senku knows he has no chance against him in physical stature, so this has turned into a race and a battle of wits.

Taiju willing to take all the hits is so wholesome. Yuzuriha seems so nice already. With Bruno’s voice I’m half tempted to believe Tsukasa’s “culling for the sake for the benefit of the new world” thing. You can almost believe it 😍

OMG I know, he's such a good boy! I love her too! For real about Bruno's voice....like dang, he could almost talk me into it like that :O

HAHAHAH omg I didn't even realize the pun I was making! It's a good binge watch series right? Oooh I'll put that on my to do list!! True about Senku and Taiju, they each have their strengths and weaknesses. Hahah I mean maybe I ask for something once in a while, but still! That's the thing, Tsukasa is pretty smart which is a lethal combo with all his other skills.

Hey Leonie! YAY!! I'm so happy you love my reactions that much <3333 I was sooo tempted to watch a bunch haha. I did miss him putting the necklace on the girl! I'm sure there's a reason he hates adults. Ohhhh ok, thanks for clarifying about his intentions with who to resurrect. I love Yuzuriha!!! Tsukasa having much more intellectual prowess than Taiju, but the same kind of strength (even moreso even), is really frightening. I loved learning more about Senku!! And I do love the rivalry! Haha I'd say most of this is realistic except for Tsukasa, yeah :P But it's an awesome mix like you said!!

There is one thing I CAN tell you about the Manga and that is that it's over and Season 4 will be the last one and air in three parts in 2025 (I think) :D And yes, I have once again read all of it xD
