Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to episode 42 of Kamen Rider Gotchard! OMG!!! What on earth! Man-made Chemies? Sabi's brother? A whole secret lab/alchemy community we didn't know about?! Also, Geryon's on the move with his plans, it'll be interesting to see how it goes with two of the kings still around though. Meanwhile, the ending shows him walking up....somewhere?! Hopefully not where we are, but probably! Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) My emojis were : 🐢💣 There are no tank/canon/gun emojis unfortunately, so the bomb is the one that could work ^^'. Funny details I forgot, but the three kings are the mirror of our Kamen Rider. Gigist/Spanner: Gigist is obsessed with understanding humans and the origin of black flames. Spanner does not seek to understand the chemy and considers them as weapons above all, he is the heir of the black flames. Germain/Geryon/Hotaro: Germain said to be the originator of alchemy and seems to use it freely. Geryon is the one who created the "dolls", created malgam and seems obsessed with turning people and such into gold. Hotaro uses achemy freely and as Gotchard transforms his own body. Gaelijah/Rinne: We haven't seen much of Gaelijah, but she always talks about reading the stars. Rinne's transformation into Kamen Rider is made thanks to the chemies of the moon or the sun, two stellar bodies. Speaking of Rinne, she definitely has no luck in this episode ^^'. My idea of ​​the events of ten years ago is that Sabimaru was the one who transmuted the chemy, but it hurt or traumatized him, to the point that his brother took the blame. Sabimaru ended up in a state where he could no longer speak and that's why Isaac was created. If Sabi's brother is so hard on him, it's probably to protect him from this feeling of guilt/recover his memory. Another idea, during the transmutation of the chemy, Sabimaru's soul found itself injured and part of it ended up in Isaac. I mean, with two brothers in a world of alchemy, it's not difficult to think of an idea like Fullmetal Alchemist lol.

At this point you comment that the preview’s really loud every time, but just remember - that’s always the case - wait for the actual episode to make volume adjustments or you just end up turning it right back up. It’s like the movies. :) *Sees everyone pushing each other in the lab and asks - why is Hotaro standing around with open beakers that are steaming? Thoughts made immediately prior to disaster striking… Melissa: “Guys that was a very crazy COLD open…” Me: Rinne has issues with the way you phrased that… We actually learned a bit about Sabi’s background and where he gets his passion for Chemies. But as Kongou Laboratories has yet to create a actual Chemy, what was that they were chasing? I don’t know if you caught this, but did anyone else notice that Sabi actually used a normal voice for quite a bit of this episode - and then it reduced to a whimper and smaller letters again after his brother rebuked him… but for the most part he was talking “normally.” Something occurred between Keiichi and Sabi to distance the two of them - does it have something to do with the design of that Chemy? Speaking of that, how did Geryon turn Mami into a Malgam without actually being there? Well given that he didn’t get affected by either of the other kings, it’s safe to say he’s powered up. Also if we gave him his own island he’d just want more, that’s how supervillains work. The Malgam seemed weird though, almost kind of like a Jekyll (turtle) and Hyde (cannon) - it was almost fighting itself as much as the Riders. Also Hotaro said he wanted to be a super alchemist and uh, apparently he’s been studying well because both of the girls are still frozen in place… I’m not sure Minato can just “undo” that without some time… this is why you don’t horse around in the lab… also see what happens when you just let the guys go off by themselves, they get into all kinds of chaos. Spanner’s having a weird day, arguing with a kid about his rank, and then getting shot out of a cannon. XD No wonder he’s irritable. The lab caused me to think, though, the AA sure isn’t doing anything, so could this be the Chemy-friendly base of operations we’ve been looking for? Oh, and the weird thing is that when Hotaro caught the Chemy it transmuted itself into sludge and escaped the capture card… it’s not supposed to be able to do that. Also Geryon walking through the forest, presumably toward the lab - I’m getting a real Muzan rip off vibe here… In the meantime, I hope somebody knows how to unfreeze the girls, cause I get the feeling they’re gonna be needed soon… 👀

I want to make my own Chemy now. And name it Fluffy. I’m interested to see more of Sabi’s brother and their dynamic. It’s an interesting route to explore. Man professor really is like Aizawa. He’s seems so done with all the mischief his kids get into every minute now lol. Great episode!

Hi Spadeas! :) Oh those were perfect haha! I still get the gist of it really well! WHOA, that's actually really interesting about the parallels between some of the villains/heroes here! OMG I know, poor Rinne! Oooohh that actually would make a lot of sense about Sabi's backstory! OMG you are so right about the FMA vibes lol!!! Wow!!!

Yeah the volume is tricky like that! Haha you know nothing good is gonna come from Hotaro messing around in a lab! Also yeah, poor choice of words considering Rinne's predicament...!! I have a lot of questions about Kongou, similar to what you've posed here! I think whatever happened between the brothers definitely has something to do with the Chemy! Yeah it sure looks like Geryon did that as a spirit or something? Freaky! He definitely leveled up. Yeah it was sort of a Jekyll and Hyde Chemy! LOL I know, like poor Minato having to clean up after his silly kids!! HAHAHAHA Spanner getting shot out of the cannon was the cherry on top for him in this ep, was it not? I'm hoping you're right that we have a new base of operations. Yeah I've never seen a Chemy sludge out of a card like that either. HAHAHAHA what are the odds they'd put the ominous walking scene in there right around the same time as Demon Slayer's infamous scene?! Someone better unfreeze those girls soon, we're def gonna need all hands on deck!

I just REAL×EYEZ. At 18.37, Hotarou did misstep at the last step of the stairs. And I remembered saw a Tokusatsu page posting an article stating that Hotarou's actor did really misstep in that scene.
