Thank you for the reaction! I really enjoyed it! If I remember correctly, V and RM said they wanted to capture the feelings of 'dawn' in this song. Apparently, Jimin and V used to meet up in the early morning at a park, and V wanted to capture the 'blueish' feeling of the morning and how he would feel sitting alone in the park with the birds singing and waiting for his friend. It's called 4 o'clock because there was a specific time when Jimin and V met up at the park at 4 am after not speaking to each other for 2 weeks following the infamous dumpling incident referenced in 'Friends'. They go into more detail when discussing the dumpling incident and how it inspired both 4 o'clock and Friends in this interview clip (https://youtu.be/E9Un7WD-yJM?t=504). The lyrics make more sense too when you understand the context and the feelings V and RM wanted to convey. Overall, it's a great song and I'm glad you guys reacted to it. Much love!

Love this song, why is it that some of their songs I love can only be played on sound cloud, I think they should release these songs on ITunes, that is where all my music is, and it is a huge as list of music, like my entire life is on there, I would happily pay for these songs, Ddaeng, Otsakura, Winter Bear, all all the covers JK has sung, Jin’s abyss, winter flower promise, god the list is long, so BTS while we love you making songs for ARMY’s for free, we will pay to have them on iTunes. So thank you Blaze, Nico and AJJ once again for a great reaction, also for being i think one of the only true BTS only reactions on youtube and Patreon, I find so many that end up starting with BTS a lot because we all know if BTS is mentioned it will be followed, we love to brag and hear others brag on our boys, but for me, you guys are the only ones I find to stand behind your bragging and love for them, not for the clicks and also not jumping on the kpop wagon with all the other groups ( I do love some of the others as well ) I didn’t really notice before because the words were not on screen, and I had looked them up a long time ago, but well I can’t remember all the Korean lyrics to their songs, I do remember about moon child, which is also great, but seeing Joon and Tae singing this song with the words 2 things hit me, 1 being the bird and 2 Tae’s reaction at the end of the song, because winter bear Tae sings about a blue parrot which we believe to be Tae’s reference to his grandma who passed away, “ you look like a blue parrot, wish you could fly to me “ yes english words I remember, anyway, I am wondering if this is also not in relation to his grandma, need to see when they did this song and when his grandma passed, maybe winter bear can then be linked to this like moon child is, now to me it seemed like at the end Tae was close to tears, or he was crying, I know how hard his grandma’s passing was on him ( and JK ) which would make sense if the bird that sings and he follows is his grandma ?! Winter bear Tae is also filming part of it in a park Sorry for the long rant, Love you guys 💜

No worries! It's also cool to see RM reference Moonchild in this song as this song was released over a year before Mono. Some people thought that he gained inspiration for Moonchild from 4 o'clock, but he stated in his Mono vlive that Moonchild actually inspired his lyrics in this song as he'd already been working on it!

a piece of art... I feel Namjoon's vocals are not appreciated enough, when he wants he can be a really nice singer, 4 O'clock is produced by V and as usual he just deliver art after art, is something natural on him, thank you Nico, AJJ and Blaze for the reaction :D

Love the reaction guys! RM is so underrated sometimes for the things he can do. Harmonizing with Tae is not an easy task, and he handles it beautifully. I don’t know if any artist has ever been as poetic, and get you right in the heart like BTS.

I mean if you have a shirt that says BTS is the best why not watch til the end right? Loved this because I felt each and every reaction. It was like I heard the song for the first time again. This song is definitely deep and beautiful. Also, someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think 4'oclock came out before RM released moonchild but he's obviously referencing something but I don't know what so please forgive me on my lack of knowledge. Annyo me again, just wanted to mention about something I found today on YouTube that I recommend that anyone who love BTS to watch, it’s a docu series called The Rise of Bangtan, I thought I knew all the things they went thru, boy was I wrong, this series brought a lot more information of kpop, BTS and American Media and well idiot xenophobic American too. It can be hard to watch, but so worth it. Please watch whether you do it alone or with Patreon you will feel as if you have been with them since day 1, I know I do now.

Oh my God, I'm seriously crying when Blaze said "it's like saying I will always find my way home as long as I can hear you". 4 O'Clock was, is and will always be my comfort song. Fantastic comment. About the availability of their music on different platforms - there are so many songs I’d love to have on Spotify too, especially BTS’s version of Danger feat Thanh (so good!), 4 o’clock, Abyss, Christmas love, Path/road, I know, and RM’s Fantastic feat Mandy Ventrice. And all their covers! I check every now and then - I know the covers won’t be available but fingers crossed some of the others might be some day. I’d happily pay too. So many great songs!

There was a little boy named Adam who suffered severe autism but whenever he listened to this song he always became peaceful and calm. His mom was so thankful that she posted this story on her sns as follows💜 "My Adam has autism and during his crisis, that became really rare after his sister brought Bangtan into our home, only 4 o'clock can calm him down." "Thank you Kim Taehyung. Thank you Kim Namjoon. Thank you BTS." In her video, Adam is calmly lying in his bed while listening to '4 O'CLOCK'. Adding to this already amazing story, she also said in one of her comments that Adam was non-verbal until he met BTS, but now he sings in Korean.

I love this song! It’s the first song V wrote with RM’s help. Apparently V wrote this song about his friendship with Jimin in someway. If you all saw the making of this song it is really powerful. This is the first song that V wrote and he wanted RM to sing on it. RM didn’t feel comfortable doing it, but he said that he would do it only because it was V. He also helped V write the song, if I’m not mistaken. I really love this. Awesome job fellas!!!!!❤️❤️❤️
