Progress Sneak Peek - July 5 (Patreon)

Hello everyone and welcome to a new sneak peek of Lucky Paradox!

This has been a week of development in multiple areas.

I have been fixing all the bugs and other problems reported in Lucky Paradox Enhanced Edition, I think it is now in a pretty solid state, so I have decided to start the development of version 0.7 in the middle of this week.

Before I start developing the story, I must first finish everything that will be needed for the next update. Although, I am already working on what will be the writing.

For now, I am working on Yui's story and all the background that will be included regarding the Bagliore family in version 0.7 :)

The new girls that will arrive in the new update have already been added to the Social Tab. They will appear as hidden characters until the requirements are met.

Luna already has an unlockable character profile and it is fully programmed, with all the necessary graphics. The way to unlock her profile will be different from everything seen until now, since it could be said that she is a hidden character... I will only say that Luna has forgotten an object in one of the tables of the Miss Pumpkin.

I still need to finish the graphics for the new location where we can find Luna (The cabin in the forest) and it will be a location composed by two zones, we only need to finish some details, and it should be finished during the next days.

Cassie's character profile has been finished, she has two costumes visible in the costume tab (The fighting costume and the training costume). In order to unlock her profile, it will only be necessary to visit the Shogukuni during noon after overcoming the Blue Dragon challenge.

I have also decided to expand the Shogukuni, so that it will be possible to visit the Dragons' rooms (including Yui's room). Some details are still to be finished, but it will be an interesting place to visit during the night.

Finally, the third character to be included in this version, Tomoe, has been finished. Unlike Luna and Cassie, Tomoe doesn't have a character profile in the Social tab since she is a tertiary character (she doesn't have an elaborated story), but she will participate in some events with other girls. In this case, we will be able to unlock a special fun event by performing a Concert with Maxy and if the popularity is higher than 200.

Tomoe is a character created with the help of Raven Tomoe. A 3d artist who makes LP fanarts very regularly and that the Discord community can enjoy.

I find the concept of a tertiary character a fun idea and it helps quite a bit to set the scene for life in Argleton.

Although tertiary characters don't create a character with a development line within the story, I think it will help to create funny situations. I was thinking of leaving tertiary characters simply as shadows, but I think Argleton will feel like a much more alive place if each background character has a particular design, has a life and can interact with the player. Not just a black silhouette in the background that would kill the atmosphere of the game.

I don't know how many will be included in the future, but it would be fun if the community could participate in some way in the design of these characters. This way Argleton will turn out to be a place with much more variety and fun.
