Progress Sneak Peek - May 10 (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone and welcome to a new sneak peek of Lucky Paradox!
It's been a week of writing, corrections, translation, graphical improvements and some last minute ideas, bathing suits!
Finally, the writing has been finished and corrected, so this week the work on the translation of the game has started, there is still a lot to translate, but the progress is being quite fast, although the idea is that as many types and errors are corrected during this phase of the development. Many old texts have been changed in the English version, so that the MC has a more neutral way of speaking, as previously there was an intentional "Broken English", but it was distracting for the story.
Some color changes have been made, to make it easier to distinguish between a character and a background, this has only been done in some cases, since they had not been updated after the last graphical rework.
About 200 images from the old version have been remade. Since many of these have had many graphical improvements and to be consistent with the latest improvements of the scenarios that the game has had.
Here we have an example, where we can see Prim (now with the work uniform), during the working days:
I have also decided to include seven new costumes. These correspond to the swimsuits used by the girls during the beach events, so it is not necessary to buy them for money, since they are totally free. In this way, it will be possible to get at least one costumes totally free of charge and it is another way to enjoy the girls in swimsuits, in addition to the beach events.
These new outfits will be unlocked as we progress during the Story path of each girl. These swimsuits and some work uniforms have been included in each girl's character profiles.
An outfit tab has also been included for Sophia, where we will be able to see a preview of her wearing her swimsuit.
I am working on some graphical improvements for the Miss Pumpkin, I'm also including some navigation icons, as some players were having trouble finding Layla within that location.
I have also been doing some tests to add an improve to the map system with which we move around Argleton. My intention is to make it possible to see the name of the location when hovering over it, so that we know where we are going before pressing the icon. There is still a problem that is the Android version, since in phones we do not have a mouse and a pointer for this.
And this has been for this week. From now on the focus will be concentrated on finishing the graphic part and the translation.
Timmy: But Mr. Stawer… Oh, I have no questions today.
Stawer: Good boy!
As always, I want to thank everyone who supports the development of Lucky Paradox, none of this would be possible if it wasn't for you.
Remember to take care of yourselves and I hope to see you soon with more news <3
