Also, I managed to catch Last Jedi last night. If you haven't seen it already, I recommend it. I actually think it was a lot better than The Force Awakens, and I really liked TFA. I think the biggest downside, though, is that there's a big slog right in the middle. It includes some exciting action and interesting set pieces, but it feels pretty unnecessary and I think the film would have flowed better if they had just cut that whole sequence out. But it did set up some important themes that pay off at the end of the movie, so who knows? A lot of the movie actually feels like a response to TFA... many of the criticisms fans and critics had for TFA seemed to be aggressively addressed or subverted.
