Commercials from the 90's and early 2000's were golden gems. I STILL go back and re-watch them for the nostalgia factor. They bring back so many happy and warm memories.. when things were so simple. In Canada we had these commercials called: "Concerned Children's Advertisements" and they were some of the best and literally EVERYONE who was born during the 90's knows them by heart! 😂 These commercials were designed to encourage kids to get outside and play. Don't sit inside playing video games or watching tv, go out and play with your friends, be active and live a healthy life. Honestly i feel like kids nowadays need that message more than anyone. A few of my favourites were: What's your thing: https://youtu.be/OX6qUFm1HsI?feature=shared (This sums up the 90's so well LOL look at that fashion. I love it.) Don't you put it in your mouth: https://youtu.be/vyl5Mwr84MA?feature=shared (I still remember all the words LMAO.) House hippo: https://youtu.be/G9hJK4fCq4U?feature=shared (My mom bought a plastic hippo so that we could actually have a house hippo.) Smart as you: https://youtu.be/NgUGvZkQd0M?feature=shared Some of the commercials were really creepy and scary tho and those were created to educate and basically terrify kids NOT to do drugs. Cartoon network back in the day was another legendary time. Johnny bravo, scooby doo, dexter's lab, ed ed and eddy, fosters home, powerpuff girls, the list never ends. Also old school YTV (another canadian tv broadcasting station) that played classic anime like sailor moon, dragon ball z, inuyasha, cardcaptor sakura, digimon, and pokemon. Ahh yes, playing outside until the street lights turn on, running around in back alleys, hopping fences, stealing raspberries from yards, riding my bicycle everywhere, visiting yard sales at 9AM, playing with my friends, these were precious moments that i wish i could re-live. ❤️

Enjoyed your podcast! I grew up in the 90's too so I relate to everything you talked about.
