The King never gave the Queen a chance at love before because of her family, since they " control " him, he always thought that the Queen was against him to. Now because Jang Bong-hwan is inside her stirring up things he's seeing " her " differently and starting to fall in love with her. With Jo Hwa Jin ( the concubine ), she does love king, but she's seeing that the king's love is shifting so she's becoming jealous, and we know that jealousy can make you have wrong thoughts and actions. Regarding the cousin I agree with Josh and I'll go further saying that his love it's becoming an obsession and that obsession is making him take all the wrong decisions. As you continue to watch it you'll see more connections that will give you a more clear vision on this four characters relationship. And also there was no poison found, the Grand Queen and her brother toke the opportunity tho frame the concubine and the other Queen, and also Josh the previous king that was murdered was her son and not her husband. I'm so happy that you guys are loving this show, thanks for your reactions 💜. And I hope that your daughter gets better soon 🙏

Just finished watching ep 7, I'm so happy you guys are enjoying this drama and the discussion at the end I am on your side about the cousin-relationship thingy, Josh! I don't like it because even though they aren't related they are still a family member...but in the Joseon era it's really common so I can't really complain.. The cousin in this drama annoys me but HE IS SO ADORABLE IN REAL LIFE, HE'S A DORK (IN A CUTE WAY) IN MY OPINION. He's a part of a popular Korean variety show called 2 Days 1 Night where they travel around South Korea to experience different culture and try local dishes. They play games and if you're on the losing team you won't get to eat and you'll need to sleep outside in a tent (sometimes without tent lol) while the winners will enjoy the food and lodging/sleeping quarters. ☺️
