Suga dropped so many gems in this documentary. I loved seeing him with his friends and like he said, even though they don't speak the same language they were still on the same wavelength. Anderson is so dope haha they were getting crunk in the studio. I really loved the snooze song it's probably my favorite. He said "Don't ever laugh at other people's controversies, because that might happen to you someday. Your success will be your leash and shackles. The feeling of walking on a tightrope will suffocate you" some deep stuff man. Gonna reflect and think about this song's meaning every now & then. Loved it!

Where’s Jinny’s kitchen??

The part with Ryuichi Sakamoto made me cry a lot. That was such a beautiful moment.

Snooze is such a beautiful song! It makes me cry every time I listen to it. And the fact that Yoongi included the last part of So Far Away in it makes so much more meaningful! I just love his mind, so freaking creative!!

I have to keep watching this documentary. I was so moved. I loved Hobi’s too, but I didn’t feel like I found out things that I didn’t already know with him. I could just sit back and absorb the sunshine from Hobi. Yoongi, however has always been extra private, it seemed to me. I loved going on this journey with him over the year. It started with him explaining like he said at the Festa dinner that he didn’t have anything left to say. His writer’s block and burnout were palpable. But spending time in the US with artists, he drank, he ate well, he filled his soul with beautiful scenery. You could see some of his tension melting away. I was so touched when he said he was discovering that he liked to travel. You could see him becoming happier. Chairman Bang just bought a mansion in Bel Air, California(Trevor Noah’s former house) for when he is there working, and I hope it’ll be a place the members can retreat and relax and be inspired. He slowly started talking about dreams again. He loved the studio setups that he had seen and talked about recreating something like that back in Korea. He went to the beautiful compound where they had filmed ITS, and had a good time at his “music camp.” It wasn’t as successful as he hoped, but that’s okay because he was still learning that different style and you could tell his inspiration was building. He has the means now to create the environment he wants now. By the time he was talking with Ryuichi Sakamoto, Yoongi was expressing specific aspirations again. It was so enjoyable for Mr. Sakamoto too, you could tell. The songs on DDay are my favorites from Yoongi. He discovered his new beginning and I was so happy for him. Thank you for reacting to it. 💜

I loved being able to see yoongi having a great time visiting his friends, steve, halsey, anderson, it's cute that he's surrounded by such welcoming people. Steve aoki having pictures of bts all over his walls hahaha that was way too sweet. 😂💕 He supports bts in everything they do and always calls them his brothers. Hearing him willfully offering his studio for yoongi to use was really nice as well.. his studio is crazy. The piano playing was beautiful. Merry christmas mr lawrence sounds so pretty and i can feel sad undertones within the song, it's very melancholic. R.I.P. ryuichi sakamoto. Aw hearing you thinking of becoming a teacher would be amazing josh. Life is too short so do whatever makes you happy in the end. I remember yoongi told us briefly about his mom's heart surgery during one of his album reviews way back in 2013-2014. He said he was sent to live with his grandparents for the time being. Yoongi dropped the bomb on us about his father dealing with liver cancer. I feel so sorry towards his family and how difficult that must've been. That's so sad. Watching suga perform snooze live with woosung made me extremely emotional. On my first listen it made an impact and got me teary eyed but that performance was something else. I couldn't stop crying even after the song ended, my heart was aching. The lyrics are sad, comforting and very touching. Becoming a singer and being a celebrity is no walk in the park. It comes with its own demons. It honestly makes me think of the passing of recent idols.. it breaks my heart into a million pieces. Suga wants to send out a message of peace and hope for those who are working so hard to achieve their dreams, being a light in the darkness because he knows how mentally grueling it can be at times. It also reminded me of namjoon's wildflower.. the lyrics were on the same wave length and had the same amount of pain but comfort in them. Hearing the lines: "I hope you never forget the ones who scattered flowers on the thorny road, don’t forget the ones who are crying when you’re laughing. Those people live because of your smile." I see it as army, army placed those flowers, your fans carry you through the weight of hardships, when army is having a hard time, seeing bts smiling and creating music makes them live and fight through another day. Keep those moments close to your heart. Everything will be alright. On another note woosung is an incredible singer! I ADORE the way he moves his body and sings with every nerve to the tips of his fingertips. He feels the words. His vocals are unique and he has an amazing way of expression with his face too. Great performer. I knew the collab was gonna be beautiful.

This documentary was a bit of an emotional Rollercoaster. I was smiling then crying. Loved being able to see him having fun making music even if at times it was frustrating him. The live performances in there were awesome as well. I watched this right when it came out before the concert and honestly was thinking shit- It's better for my health that he trimmed his hair cause I don't know if my heart could take long haired Yoongi in person LMAO.
