They don't have D-Day up yet, but "Enjoy BTS More" is a Youtube channel that is ALL about sourcing their lyric videos from doolset and other reliable sources! I go to them when I want quality lyric videos (and they even put them over live performances, etc). They even give context to the song in the descriptions.

I'll have to watch this in the evening but i also agree with the comments. I really love seeing your reactions to the lyrics. With the rapline we know they have a lot of important things to say. The vocal line too is gonna be even more important as it's their first time releasing solo albums so they haven't gotten a chance to really voice their thoughts and feelings. That's gonna be special so i hope you could either hold off on listening to the album until lyrics become available unless you prefer doing first listens this way. I'll leave my comments about the songs and their lyrics until later. 💜 Zaty farhani does a decent job and releases within a few hours. Enjoy bts more is a brilliant channel and way more resourceful however they take a lot longer to translate.

I also do my first listens and first mv watch without lyrics. I like to take in the vibes. Then I get lyrics from some trusted twitter accounts and doolset and watching reactors that use lyric videos. This album is amazing. The transitions from each song to the next..you can tell he meant to tell a story and the album was intended to be heard start to finish and I love that! Can’t wait for your reaction to the lyrics!

Totally feel the same– usually I'll just copy paste the korean lyrics into google translate as I do my first listen! It may be a little wonky, but it's not so bad and I at least get the gist.

Usually I copy paste the Korean lyrics (from the Genius website) into google translate's website, then read the english translation as I do my first listen. I'm big on lyrics, so I prefer to do it this way! Even if the translations aren't stellar, I still get a solid feel for what the song's message is.

I have always done my first listens with lyrics since the vibes of the music alone aren't enough for me personally, I truly want to know the message of each song so that I can understand in my head why the tracks are put in a certain order, or if there's a storyline weaved through the tracklist (like Namjoon's Mono), or if there's a reason why a song has that specific sound to it. Then of course the interpretations that come out of the listening experience are going to be subjective to each of us, but I think they're all talented enough to be able to convey the general idea of the themes that they want to talk about. That being said, ultimately you should always do first listenings the way that it is the most meaningful to you! If this works for you best, then that's great

I always do my first listen without lyrics just to get a vibe etc- maybe even 2 or 3 listens then ill dive into lyrics. I fell in love with their music without the lyrics so for me it's my normal . This album is amazing start to finish- kind of an emotional Rollercoaster like all the individual albums have been. I just can't wrap my head about how 7 such different guys can all be such talented musical geniuses - they for real need to rule the world!!

Ahhh it’s taking everything within my willpower to not listen/watch the music video. I ordered Jimin’s album last time and decided to wait for it to arrive so I can get full CD experience first, and then watch related content after. The music sounded toooo good!!!! So I’m waiting for D-Day to come home 😭😭 can’t wait to watch this vid and the doc after

OH! I'm a little late but I've got great recommendation for lyric videos that you asked for. Basically, go to Zaty Farhani's lyric videos for new releases, they are very accurate (I'm a Korean speaker). around 80-90% of the translations are correct, and they're very fast with it so usually you can watch it during the same day of release. Please use it for future reactions!
