I agree with you I wouldn't leave someone alone during such a situation knowing they've been feeling lonely throughout basically their whole life. I would make an effort to at least show them I'm there for that person or am ready to listen without judgment whenever there ready to open up....but just like you that's just my opinion as well since for her she needed the grandma to come in to guide her to do that and I think sometimes its best to tend to someone else's feelings (who was clearly hurt) before our own since we don't know the whole truth. Anyways a good example I thought of how someone showed putting someone else's feelings first and just reading the situation/atmosphere and being a pillar/a person of comfort for a person in need ...is actually "Our Beloved Summer" when Choi Woong got a harsh critique from one of the artists and his whole identity was put into question but yet here he was comforting his best friend and his girlfriend Da-mi who he saw was in distraught and pain over her grandmother and he decided to put his feelings of hurt aside for hers because she needed him at that moment and that to me showed his selflessness. Gosh I know this might not be correlated to this drama, but I wanted to mention this cause my mind just wanders to different scenarios of how some things would have been handled. But I'm glad everything played out well at the end of that scenario later on. Also, seeing kids cry just gets me every time! makes me bawl my eyes out so here I am crying once again re-watching this episode with you.

I was literally bawling half of this episode! SO many emotions pphh. I may need to take a break before I watch the last episode. With all their connections throughout their lives without knowing it reminds me of a J-drama I watched called Boku, Unmei no Hito desu (I am your destiny). In the drama they past by each other throughout their lives since childhood as well.
