Today we reacted to Bon Voyage Season 1 Episode 1 when BTS started their trip to Northern Europe. We loved the first episode and can't wait to get to the next episode to see what happens next. This season is to celebrate their 3 year anniversary.  Watch to find out if  something gets lost, who was left behind, who has a birthday and also just the boys everyday life. If you had to pack quickly what is the top things you would pack without thinking?

Ohh!! Baby BTS♥

Ashlee

Love that you guys are reacting to Bon Voyage!! You're going to enjoy it so much ♡ The only thing is this link that you're using to watch it has weird editing sound wise. I think the person edited the background music to be louder so that they could avoid copyright, but that kind of makes it harder to hear the boys. I would honestoy suggest purchasing a vlive+ membership. It'll also make it easier for you guys to watch the behind the scenes as well ♡♡♡

Liz

im not sure if you caught it, but the reason why tae left later is because at the time he was filming for hwarang! so because of that, he stayed behind to finish filming then he traveled to join them a day or so later.

Sonagi (소나기 )

you jump and didn't watch episode 0 XD ps: also yes I'm was in a 19 hour flight, I'm Korean and I live in the United States now, I live in Miami and I normally go back to Korea every summer break so right now I'm in Korea but I have to go back to the US in August ,, also I hate airplanes it makes me dizzy but is the only way I hope someday they will invent a teleportation machine so I dont have to take planes anymore XD

Andricka

They did say it when they were packing that V had to leave a day after the others because of his schedule, he as filming the drama Hwarang at that time. Coming-of-age ceremony is like a ceremony on the Monday of the 3rd week of May for people turning 19 in that year. Are you going to react to the behind the scene after each episode ? Why didn't you watch the episode 0 ? I hope you'll watch it on your own before the next episode at least

lucy

btw it was before jungkook started g.c.f :) back than(2016), he was just interested in taking photos. much later, he got to interested in videos more than photos, and it made him began to making videos by himself.

Anonymous

The ending party is for celebrating JK being adult ( already 20 years old in Korea) . His brothers wanted to give him a 🌹rose.. perfume and a kiss 💋 kkkkkkkk

Anonymous

Love your reactions ~Also I think you guys might could watching the behind scenes together at the same time ( like episode 1 + episode 1 behind scenes)

Anonymous

Please react behind the scenes too

CandykOh

I gotta be honest. I kept refreshing the page since I got home from work. I was seriously that excited for the reaction XD.

Anonymous

I've never been on a flight that was less than 10hrs😂😂😂 between 10-18hrs usually

Kookielove82

Guys please do behind the cams after each episode it’s not super long Also u guys might want to invest in just buying vlive with bts+ so u don’t struggle finding the videos ur reacting too and not distracted by the additional edits other uploaders add to the videos

Anonymous

I'm so glad you guys are having fun watching Bon Voyage! I agree, it's really nice to see the different sides to all of them, through BV, Run, and everything else :) One thing I love about Bon Voyage is that even though it's all still filmed and everything for a show, you get to see them enjoying a holiday and trying new things and having fun!

Anonymous

What a great hour to spend with you both! Haven't watched Bon Voyage in a while so this was sooo nice to watch with you :) Glad you enjoyed it so much! I love seeing their closeness like this - Bon Voyage is definitely my favorite of all their series <3

ARMYnotArmy

I hope you watch the episode 0 interview on your own time. It's just cute and gives a little insight on where the members wanted to go and little things like that. As mentioned by others, Tae had to leave a day later because he was filming for the drama show - Hwarang. It's a good show actually and he did a wonderful job in it. Coming of age is a thing in Korea(as far as I know I've only seen this in Korea as I have a cousin who had one of these like 10 years ago) where you celebrate your coming of age - turning 19 and you typically get flowers or some sort of nice gift and a kiss which is suppose to be like.. you're an adult now so here's your first kiss sort of thing.(I'm not good at explaining things lol, and my Aunt would hit me with a spoon if she knew I was forgetting stuff lol) As for packing... personally I'm a pretty fast packer, but I've traveled a decent amount so it's gotten easier for me. I like planes as long as I have something to occupy my mind like music, or I'll write, or read. I think the longest flight I've been on has been to Korea, I went for like 3 summers in a row when I was 10-13. I remember learning to like planes back then, of course I think it helps to have people with you, my Aunt would fly here to USA and then we'd go fly back. She'd end up taking the most flights and I don't know how she did it back then but she's one of the strongest women in my life. Anyway, I've rambled on. Can't wait for the next ep. 💜

Anonymous

I've only gone on one trip by plane and it was a 10 hour flight each way from Australia to Japan

Anonymous

They have stuff for check in bags and transport and everything thats why they are lost to do it by self :)

Anonymous

Yay! A perfect way to spend my friday night; watch your reaction to this! Thank you for this!

Anonymous

there is a behind the scene for every bon voyage episode. i wish you could do a reaction video of it as well 💜

Xiaoxiao

Oh I thought you would first react to episode 0 and also do the behind the scenes because they show more clips for each episode and more. Tae not being in the first episode was already explained, if you pay attention to the captions. That's why maybe if you want to talk about something or the captions are to fast, just pause the video. Because they already explain everything in there. Thank you so much for reacting! :)

Anonymous

Finally! I'm actually gonna go to Korea and Japan in September and its going to be a 20hr flight so I'm soo excited. Itll be my first big trip 😆

Anonymous

Ah it feels awsome to get to see your reaction to this and rewatch their moments through this show again but with you two♡

Anonymous

The longest and only flight ive been on was from California to New york:) i loved it

Anonymous

Yess I was literally so excited for this video! Great reaction guys!💜

Anonymous

their brotherhood is what makes the difference between them and any other group that had ever existed. Also i took an 11 hour flight to japan, it was long but very worthy

Kiara

Please make sure you do the behind the scenes to each episode as well

I think the “painkillers” Yoongi is referring to is more for treating headache and fever.. kind of like tylenol or motrin. I always carry some type of analgesic when I travel because I end up getting a fever from walking around too much all day or from jetlag. The use of “painkiller” just made it seem like it was a narcotic to treat severe/chronic pain. Taehyung departed Korea a day later because he had to film for his drama “Hwarang”. *FYI- I fly from NYC to Korea and it takes around 13-14 hours to get there. You definitely need a neck pillow and a butt cushion to get you through the flight lol. I felt like I was going to get a pressure ulcer from sitting so long. Jimin said it is okay to lose his bag, but because a fan gifted him that carrier, he felt bad. A ‘Coming of Age Day/Ceremony’ is celebrated in Korea for boys and girls who turn 20 (Korean age). It’s celebrated on a specific date, not that person’s birthdate. You would usually gift them with either 20 flowers, perfume, a hairpin,or a kiss. They could’t get him anything special with the budget that they were on so they bought him a supermarket cake and put two candles on top. Later, they teased him saying “let’s rock, paper, scissor and the loser has to kiss him”. Lol such bros. You’re right, they all equally split chores so its fair. For example, we see that Jin and Yoongi are usually the main cooks, Jimin/Hobi/Jungkook assists and sets up for dinner, Namjoon and Taehyung usually clean up after they are done eating. One big happy family.

Kina

I been on 13+ hr flight ... going to visit my country... it a pain if you flight economy ...buuut it worth it

Anonymous

Haven't seen this in a while, I'll enjoy watching it again. Don't forget to check the behind the scenes video with every episode because the best things are sometimes hidden there... By the way it's no wonder they are so lost. Up to this point they always had their managers and staff with them to take care of things like check-in or the luggage, they never needed to do this. But the whole point of the Bon Voyage series is that they are on their own, with only the cameramen around them and they are not allowed to help. It will be funny as hell. XD

Anonymous

Hey, please react to Jimin hitting high notes video compilation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70tO5HuT9sg

Elisha

I think you should get vlive plus so stuff is easy for you to find you can watch run bts and bon voyage on there and behind the scenes for both shows and you can watch the live videos on there I just think it’s easier so whenever you watch a bts video you can just go to vlive

Joycelyn Lorenzo

I'm taking a 19-hour trip (with layovers) from Mississippi to Seoul next week!!! It'll be my first time in Seoul, so I'm super excited :) After that, I'm visit family in the Philippines, and then I'm taking the trip back home to Mississippi! It's a very long trip!

Tarmill

Just finished watching this :) Super excited to watch this show again with you. Can't wait for the episodes where they visit my country Finland :) And to answer the question in the middle of the episode, my longest flight has been about 7 hours to Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

Anonymous

I was thinking about how I was so excited for you guys to get to season 3 cause I love it so much, but watching this made me remember HOW GOOD SEASON 1 IS! As they've become more famous, the format had to change a lot (for obvious reasons), and season 3 is so good but they are so different back in season 1! Wow, thanks for rekindling my old memories of the boys <3

Anonymous

Also, its CRAZYYYYYY seeing their old dorm!! Its so tiny and messy... they live in the most expensive building in all of Seoul now.

Vanessa Squintu

I was on a 14 hour flight in March this year. I live in Germany and I flew from Germany to South Korea. It was tiring but when you are excited it is alright 😁. Packing in 50 min is not a problem for me. I literally pack my stuff just hours before I leave for the airport 😅. Bon Voyage season 1...that brings back memories. I love this so much. Season 1 was already over when I became an ARMY but that was the show that made me got to know them better and to recognize how different they are from their stage personas. It is amazing how close they allow us to get to them. At the airport they struggled not bc they weren't on a plane very often...they struggled bc the managers would take care of stuff like checking them in and everything. The concept of the show is that they are responsible for their own trip and for themselves...no help from their staff. They did pretty great so far. If we talk about their personalities sometimes I think there is a little misconception. The dynamics in the group change a bit when they are on a trip. There are the reliable ones Jin, Yoongi and Kookie. Then there are the ones you have to keep an eye on...especially on their stuff...Namjoon, Jimin and Tae. Hobi is kind of in the middle of all this and tries to hold everything together 😂. Jin and Jimin are fairly good at finding their ways tbh. It will be fun to watch it all over again with you 💜💜

OMGosh, I got the notification this morning, but today was SO BUSY that I wasn't able to sit down and watch this until just now! It was worth it, it was so fun watching you guys react to this. Now I really have something to look forward to on Fridays! I don't travel much anymore, but the longest continuous flight I was on was from Hawaii to New Zealand and that was a little over 9 hours. However, on that trip I started from Michigan and went to California to Hawaii to New Zealand to Tonga and the total flying time was over 20 hours. That was not fun at all!!! I am a total homebody, so traveling is not on my list of fun things to do. Anyway, loved your reactions! Thanks for another great video!

Anonymous

SO COOL <3

Katja S.

I wanted to watch season 1 again a while ago. And now i can watch the whole season with you together. I'm so excited. Love all your reaction vidoes. Can't wait for the next one.

Alishea Ally

My longest trip was to Hawaii 11 hours :( but coming back was almost whole day with longest layover sadly. I enjoyed watching your reaction so much that I watched it together with my friends XD

Kiara

I’ve lived in Germany so that flight was 9 hours and then Hawaii was 11 hours so I’m used to it lol but to answer your question no I’ve cried watching bon voyage multiple times not during season one though.. but please make sure you guys react to the behind the scenes of each episode

SNBangtan

So glad you're watching these!! Don't forget the behind-the-cams. It's a lot of funny little extra things that didn't make the episode! :) Thanks for putting so much time into these! I'm so glad we're going to get RUN, Burn the Stage, and Bon Voyage! Ahhh! You spoil us!

Anonymous

Once I took a 17h flight from LA to Australia. No joke.... and a 14h flight to Japan from Jersey. Watched a LOT a pf movies.... lol Waiting for more reactions!

Anonymous

My flight to Korea was 14-15 hrs long, so I watched alot of movies and slept lol and yes, Tae came later, after his scheduled

HeatherG

I took 4 flights to Hawaii, the longest was 9.5 hours from Atlanta to Hawaii. But about 22 hours of FL

HeatherG

Travel time all together including lay overs. The more you travel the easier and less stressful it gets. I love Bon Voyage, you really get to see the natural sides of the members. This first season is all about BigHit getting the boys outside their bubble and getting them to learn how to do more common life things for themselves. Navigating travel plans, map reading, meal planning, challenging the language barrier, and basic domestic skills too.

Anonymous

I had took 20-22hours of flight before going home from Finland to Philippines which includes 1-2stop overs but got used to it by travelling like every year for vacation on my home country 💜😊

Anonymous

just curious, but the original bon voyage videos on vlive doesn't have the bg music this loud hehe, is there a reason why you'd rather watch this youtube upload than the vlive one

Anonymous

I've been meaning to watch the first season of Bon Voyage again, as it's been awhile, so this is great that I can just watch it with y'all. The beginning of the episode always gives me anxiety though. If someone told me I only had a hour to pack for an international flight/vacation, I'd have a panic attack. Oh, and the longest flight I've been on was only about 5 hours, so not long at all.

Anonymous

They have to pay for it if they watch it on Vlive. And its a bit pricey.

Anonymous

The BV series was the one of the first BTS content I've watched that made me fall in love with the boys and their music after the SNL debut! I've watched all of the seasons and the RUN episodes already but it's so fun sharing the memories again with you guys! Longest flight are the ones I've taken back to my parents' home country in Saigon, Vietnam. I believe it's around 16 hours or more. Was on a recent family vacay to Greek Isles and had to fly 13 hours to Istanbul too! It's so fun to see the boys navigate unfamiliar territories and see their personalities come through/dynamic with each other. <3

Anonymous

also taetae wasn't there because he was busy filming/wrapping up the korean historical drama "Hwarang" so he had to meet up with the boys later. The meet up was very interesting, I'd say, LOL. Yoongi is in charge of the money because if you remember he came to Seoul at a young age and was very poor so he had to learn to ration his resources very well; they also made him the money manager in S2. He and Jin usually are the main cooks of the group; Suga learned it from his older brother, a great cook himself. I can't wait to see the new ep. with you guys!

J. Mattingly

I've been to Japan and France before. France was only 7 hours to the first airport then like 2 to the one in Paris. Japan was like 14 or so hours. It depends on where you are flying to and connecting etc. On the way to Paris we had two connecting stops that made the trip over 10 hours. On the way back we only had one so it was like 8 hours. The one to Japan had one connection and took at least 14 hours I don't remember as well on the time frame. The trip back had two connections and took roughly the same amount of time. 💜💜💜💜

Anonymous

i've been in a 16+ hour flight! i was completely exhausted and jet lagged after that.

Anonymous

aw Cait, every time you cry i also cry a bit too since im also emotional. you have such a pure heart :)

Aj Amo

can’t wait for EP 2 today!!!!!!! waiting

Anonymous

Ah yes. Bon Voyage season 1, the season where they lose 3 major things per episode. Here the members lost Jimin's bag, Jungkook, and Jin's sanity/sleep by rooming with RM

Anonymous

I’ve been on a 6 hour flight but I’ve also once was in a bus for 25 hours

Anonymous

I’ve done an 11 hour flight from San Fran to South Korea. But I am also a flight attendant so I’m use to being on an airplane. Lol. 😁

Anonymous

I’ve been on a 16 hour flight.. 6 times 💔 I don't like travelling

♕︎Merel♕︎

12 hour flight from Amsterdam to Las Vegas and i loved it :D

Katy

i love travelling but when its too long.. i hate it 😫 ive been in 18 hours flight from uk to nepal... but once waited 9 hours in a airport for connection flight... the worst 😭 but the travel is worth it tho

Anonymous

I just spent 15 hours driving with a new puppy in the car to get home on the day i left Sydney. I live in South Australia and Im just happy I dont live in Perth in Western Australia as it would have been a 2 day drive lol. Im sort of lucky as most of it was country driving so at around 70 miles per hour or would have taken a lot longer

Anonymous

Didnt realise you were asking about flights when I emigrated to Australia we boarded the flight at 7pm Friday English time and landed in Adelaide South Australia at 2pm Sunday afternoon Australian time. Im hoping to go to Korea on holiday and it will take anywhere from just under 15 hours but if I have connecting flights and something goes wrong can blow out to 36 hours. The good thing is I will be flying in real time so I shouldnt suffer from Jet Lag as Korea and Australia are almost on the same time zone

Panic@theBTS

I've had a 10+ hour flight!! For work I flew from the East Coast to LA, and then 15 1/2 hour flight from LA to the Philippines! It was so weird. Luckily since it was work so I got business class (I'm cheap so all personal travel is always coach) so I could actually sleep, but after sleeping for 8 hours, there was still SO MUCH of the flight left!! My flight to Tanzania might also have been more than 10 hours, but it had a layover in Amsterdam so I can't remember exact times.

kookmineve

Im a little late however my Longest Flight so far was just over 8 hours from London-Washington DC however next June my longest flight will be 12 hours when I fly from London-South Korea!

Anonymous

I love you guys so much💜

Anonymous

Super late, but I had a 3 or 4 hour flight followed by a 9 hour flight when I visited family in the Netherlands. I was 15 at the time and flew on my own too! D:

Anonymous

So much fun watching this with you guys. My third time through. The longest trip from me was from Anchorage, Alaska to Clearwater, Florida. With the time change and layovers it was about ten hours. I hope to travel overseas eventually. :)

Marguerite Engel

I was on a 14 hour flight to Sydney, Australia and then a 5 hour flight to Perth. I've also traveled overseas to Europe for work so that's 10 hours too seeing that I live in California. You have tricks to help you survive. Bring an iPad, a book, your phone with lots of music, munchies, water. Unfortunately I can't fly first class like the guys so I am super jealous of their ability to completely fall asleep on these flights. I love flying and traveling.

Jana

I once flew from germany to cape town and that was an at least 10 hour flight. Besides that I think I was on a plane also for about 8 hours once.

Rae Avilez

17 hours from LA to Israel. And I don't fly well. Can't sleep worth beans on a flight. After that 10 to England was a piece of cake!

Vicki M

When I moved to New Zealand from Toronto it took 26 hours on 3 planes with 3 kids and a teenager (no sleep). I love your reactions, you're so much fun.
