Great minds think alike! LOL. My husband and I do the same thing with our credit cards. I also use the credit earned from one of mine to put into my savings account. And you are right, it takes self-discipline to use cards judiciously and to pay them off every single month. Letting even one month slip wipes out most of what you gain. I didn't ALWAYS do this, I had to learn from my hubby. He is VERY careful with money. Not stingy, but frugal. And he keeps up on maintenance of what we own. His work vehicle is 30 years old and we are only just now having to start looking for a replacement vehicle because he can no longer get the replacement parts; they simply aren't manufactured anymore.
