As a farmer myself, I have seen this happening already. For me, it started 2 years ago. Or, 2 crop seasons. If not for my other job, I'd be bankrupt by now! I have a feeling this is going to get much worse! I can produce enough to feed my family with my son and his family's help, and I CAN house them all. But, so many still think I'm nuts for prepping! Last year the ground was SO WET, we could not even plant 20% of it, and the rest did not grow well. Late spring, and water, water everywhere!! A few years ago I saw this coming so planted our ponds with Wild Rice. Oh boy, am I EVER glad I did!!

ALL the landscaping in my yard was switched over to fruit trees and berry bushes. I even have cranberries. But, even some of those have been suffering from the standing water all summer. I am in northern Wisconsin. I still feel blessed as I eat 3 squares a day. But, much of the world doesn't even get ONE.
