Movie is ok is like the most anime movies without a manga or novel Story Many Action but the plot and antagonists Not great was ok to watch

Listen, people definition of "canon" this day is strict to "happened in the manga" - but none of the characters from this movie were in the manga. Author stated that he wanted to put this story in manga, but decided it was better for a movie - so as far as we know, this move IS canon. But in all honesty, I love this movie and hope for BC anime return... Plus, there were certain small things in the movie that may hint at certain details, but only manga readers may catch those xDD

theres a real easy way to tell if something is canon or not... a) can it fit in the series timeline without contradicting or messing anything up and b) ifs it EVERY talked about, mentioned or referenced at all in the series either before or after. If so then its canon if no then is not... and like 99% of ALL anime movies out there Im gonna say its not. For example the Boruto "anime canon" stuff, people would call that stuff filler because it doesnt happen in the manga, whereas Id call it canon because while it isnt SHOWN in the manga, it is stated that it DOES happen in the manga, whereas the anime is just letting us SEE it happen as opposed to it just being talked about/mentioned, so Id consider that canon still (i.e the chunin exams). Theres also an example of this in Black Clover, theres a time skip in the manga where everyone trains, the manga just does the time skip but never shows the training, we just know it happens, the anime actually shows us all that training, so ID conisder that canon too even if the manga didnt directly SHOW it happen, it does mention that it DID happen whereas the anime lets us see it.
