This illustration is part of a new, ongoing series of fully hand painted interior scenes to help you set the scene for your players and add an extra level of immersion and atmosphere to your games.

I would love to know what you think, and which of my other existing maps you want to see interior (and possibly exterior) painted scenes of in the future.

I have included a version with and without NPCs included so you can use whichever version you like, and even insert your own character art if you have it. There are also versions with transparent windows and no backgrounds so you can set the scene in a location of your choosing.

I would love to know what you think, and which other maps you want to see interior (and possibly exterior) painted scenes of in the future.

Background

The Sanctum Library was created by Archivist Venellum to house her extensive personal collection of histories, religious texts, creature codices, arcana and pulp fiction. Most of the archives are open to the public (for a fee), although some of the more dangerous tomes are kept under lock and key and require special permits to view.

Anyone is free to visit, so long as they are clean, can afford entrance, and most importantly follow the first rule of the Sanctum - Absolutely No Talking! Those who break the rule will fall foul of the wrath of Head Librarian Trost who sits at the front of the reading room, surveying all.

I love this can we do one for every single map you have ever made lol.

Tom these are a brilliant addition and as fate would have it the players in my campaign have a recurring location they visit which is a great archive of world history. This is ideal!

Love this! I really like using these kind of things for vtts - I'd love to see more of this content.

This is fantastic! I totally agree Josh I also use these "first person" scenes for VTT's immensely and this will absolutely be making a Candlekeep appearance in my upcoming extra-life marathon session! EDIT: I *love* that you provide this with no character variants! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS!!! This is amazing. This saves me GOBS of layout time! Tom, have you thought of providing the characters, which are clearly on a separate layer, as overlays?

Very much in agreement with the other posts - this is such a great enhancement. Definitely in favor of seeing more.
