Hey everyone!

I have been a huge Critical Role fan for years, it is largely how I got into the hobby and the industry and I was very excited to see the Legend of Vox Machina animated series that came out last month.

During my second watch through of the show I decided to make some 'Fan Art' battlemaps of some of the coolest locations, and I am going to share them all with you! The designs and artwork in the series are beautiful and it was impossible to not be inspired.

If you are a critter too, then I hope these can bring some fun moments to your own campaigns, especially those set in Taldorei, and if you aren't a CR fan or have never watched the show then these maps will hopefully still be useful in whatever campaign and setting you are running.

Note - if you haven't watched the show yet there may some mild spoilers.

This first battlemap is based on Gilmore's Glorious Goods, a magic item shop set in the city of Emon. Let me know which other locations you think I should turn into battlemaps in the comments below!

I'd love to know what you think!

Additional Information

This series will be taking the place of my usual free Into the Wilds series this month. I hope you will excuse my self indulgence and enjoy something a little different

Use the ZIP folder at the bottom of this post to download the Hi-Res Gridded, Gridless, Day, Night and Clean versions of these battlemaps for use in your TTRPG campaign. The 'Clean' versions are just the base textures and lighting without assets and props so you can customise them as you see fit.

The 'Print' versions are 300dpi PDFs that are suitable for at home or professional printing.
The 'VTT' versions are 140dpi JPEGS that are suitable for using on your Virtual Table Top of choice.

GRID SIZE 22x25 (300DPI)
VTT
SIZE – 3080x3500 (140DPI)

As a fellow Critter, this makes me very happy. This map will also slot right in to the new campaign I just started. Thanks!

Been a Looooooooong time DnD geek and a crit role critter recently, and jumping back into DMing. We are in Wildemount, so perhaps The Gentleman's secret club in Zadash? Or the lovely domain of the lovely Maron Lavorre - The Lavish Chateau? BTW, GREAT job for the above!

The ziggurat would be awesome!

You have NO idea how happy this makes me! I broke into a huge grin as soon as I saw just the SUBJECT LINE in my email! If we're going off the new Vox Machina series only... Krieg's mansion would be really fun.

Not really a Critical Role fan and definitely not a fan of anime style shows/movies. But the map is awesome, and I can definitely use it in my campaign.

Recognized it immediately. Beautiful work!

Yo Tom, since this is replacing Into The Wilds this month does that mean that all of the Vox Machina themed maps will be bundled together at the end? Thanks for constantly fueling my inspiration to run these games!
