This months Into the Wilds theme is Dungeons as voted for by Adventurer tier Patrons.
This weeks Dungeon themed Into The Wilds set includes:

Endless Stair - As the doors swing open you find yourself at the top of a circular winding stair, the bottom obscured by an unnatural fog. After making your way down for what seems like hours, finally there is a change in the view below. A glowing blue light gets brighter and brighter until suddenly the stair ends!
After solving the puzzle of the lights, the lower doors open leading to a long dark passageway. At the end of the passage, the doors swing open and you find yourself at the top of a circular winding stair, the bottom obscured by an unnatural fog....

Use the links at the top of this post or the Zip folders attached at the bottom to download all variants of these maps in Print and/or VTT format. Leave suggestions for other maps in the comments.

The Into the Wilds maps are intended to be simpler & more generic than my regular sets and are perfect to drop in for random encounters when on the road or for when the party takes an unexpected turn and you want to be prepared.

What's the puzzle?

Asherett

Very cool idea. Not a biggie, but it's a bit silly/annoying that the grid of the floor shows through the fog in the "middle" segments. It's faint but noticeable. Ruins a bit the illusion of an "endless" stair when you can constantly see the floor ;)

It might be an illusion causing the party to believe they are almost to the bottom.

Hi Tom. Is there a Night bottom of the stairs that is a clean version?

tomcartos

Hi Giannis, I don't upload clean versions of the night maps as the assets wouldn't match them, but you can just apply a purple overlay filter and achieve the same effect.
