First of all, I have basically completed Comics 101: The Elements Of A Page. I might do that as an extra here for all you fine Patrons. Maybe in a podcast or ebook form. Or both. What's the delay? Believe it or not, I'm having a hard time visualizing it in video form. And it kind of sounds a lot pretentious. Honestly, I'm not sure it would be of general interest.

What I'm currently working on is a look at the Eisner's for the Best New Series. This will probably only include the first decade or so of awards. So, from 1988 until about the year 2005, or thereabouts (the award was paused for a number of years, thus a gap.) I intend to include all the nominees, the winner and a brief history of how the awards were established.

Other than that, I don't really have much else to announce at this time! As always, feel free to suggest ideas. I mean, I've got plenty in the beginning stages, don't get me wrong. But it's always good to hear what y'all might like to see in the future.

It's hard to find a comprehensive list on the web (Wiki and even the Eisner's page have gaps or don't list all the nominees). This is a good resource and seems to be complete: http://www.hahnlibrary.net/comics/awards/eisner.php

"Elements of a Page" sounds extremely interesting, and not pretentious at all. Your episodes are always compelling so what about a catchier title to assuage a possible "general interest" problem? "Alchemy of a Page". And *then* it would be pretentious. :p

Oh, thank you! I had to track down the nominees from a few different sources. And I do believe that's the main one! I was very happy to see Colonia was a nominee. Congratulations for that.
