But the other point is that popular and popularized are different things. When something is popular, it could be because it sounds good with five seconds of thought. If something is popularized, you have a great mass of people who like it and are capable of defeating objections of the unconverted. You can only popularize a program through organizing. The fact that initial polls are positive on key issues is extremely good. But that alone does nothing in the world.
