Today is my birthday week and even as you're reading this, the celebrations continue as I'm currently partying with friends. I was able to do some work during the week beforehand, but I knew that I didn't have as much time as before because of all the plans I had. That's why I only did some small things whenever I could be available instead of getting into some of the regular videos. However, there are still some noteworthy moments worth talking about that I can cover, so here's what's been happening outside of my birthday.

- Released my review of PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie: I might have said this before, but I was hoping that I got an early screening of this so that I could've saved Part 7 of Animation Lookback: The Muppets for this week as a good tie-in with my birthday, but that unfortunately did not happen and that's why The Mighty Movie review is over here. There was a part of me that was hoping that this was as enjoyable as the first film, but I guess my optimism got the best of me and what we got is exactly what we'd expect from a PAW Patrol movie. Does that mean that it is bad? No. It still does its job to keep the children entertained. They'll be cool with this for sure. It's just that there isn't as much value to it for anyone older. It's a bit of a bummer, but I can't be mad at it. It knows what it wants to be, it does what it wants to do. Yes, it was weird going to the theater to see the movie by myself, but at least I got this done. I did my business with it, so now let's give this to the kids so that they can have their superhero movie.

- Created the next AniMat Watches: While this was one of the easier ones to make, I did manage to create another full video so that I'm now ready for this month. I won't say immediately what I just watched, but you can make a guess and you'll probably be right. This was actually something that was not only frequently requested, but I also decided to save it for Halloween to make it the perfect opportunity to release a video that can tie-in with the spooky season. I will say that the toughest part was to trim the video down to a manageable size that's under 40 minutes. I did do a good batch of commentary during, but I wanted to make sure that the best ones or the parts that have the most significant moments in the film remain intact. In the end, I think I created something special that will mark as a great return for the series with a movie that is a perfect subject based on some of the past content I've watched!

- Started Working on the next AniMat's Classic Reviews: Because of my limited time, I'd like to clarity that I did not immediately start actually doing the review itself like watching the movie and writing the script for it. What I have done so far is the preparation. Have everything I need to make the review and gather the necessary materials to create the review when it will be time to edit. With that said, once my festivities are done, the first thing I'll be doing, in terms of work, is creating this review. You won't have to wait too long to know what this one will be, as the next ACR of Steven Universe: The Movie will be coming out next week. I will say that this will be one that shall be...interesting. I can't say immediately if that means it will be good or bad, but I know I'm going into a strange case here.

- Gave my Voice Acting Website a big update: While this is unrelated to my videos, this was still a significant project that I worked on. I had a chat with other voice actors and the subject of our websites were brought up. As you may know, I do have one for my voice acting business, but by revisiting, I thought it was way too plain and should be given a nice upgrade. I've consulted with a couple of web designers who specifically craft websites for voice actors and the result (with the help of their tools) is this fancy new site. It's not perfect and there will be more changes planned soon, but it already looks great compared to how it was last time. So far, it is still under construction and the website name still needs to register to the new one I made, but once everything is ready, I'll go and show it off to everyone.

And that's been my little week of work while my birthday was around. At the most, I was able to produce a vlog-style video, but I still had a wonderful week surrounded by friends and family. It's like a little time-off for myself so that I can enjoy life and then I'll be rejuvenated to gather all the energy I needed to get back to work. Thank you all for the birthday wishes and, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!
