Update Blog - 1/28/23 (Patreon)

After so many reviews to work on, the holidays taking over my time, getting sick and other projects that took a higher priority, I'm so glad that I got to bring Animation Lookback...well, back again. Amongst everything I went through, I've worked hard on this new part to make it both strong and impactful. In a way, I wanna set a real good standard for this year so that my projects can be as great as that one. But allow me to tell you more under this paragraph about my week.

- Released Part 4 of Animation Lookback: The Muppets: Like I said, going through all those events in the past months made it an additional obstacle creating this part, especially when this one is not like your typical AL episode. This one focuses more on what happened in the last years of Jim Henson's life after he peaked in the mid-1980s and required a good amount of revisions in my research like rereading parts of the Brian Jay Jones book to ensure I get the best facts to tell the story. Not to mention that there have been days that I had to do several recordings with Puppet AniMat to ensure that I can get him to act correctly in front of the camera, especially when he had to explain some things more than ever before. I had to separate it into small chunks and try to connect them together in a way that can feel natural in the editing. So this was a tough one to get through, but I believe it all came out great in the end and makes me feel excited to jump back into make more history videos with many emotional twists and turns. I'm hoping I'll get to do a lot of those this year, but I know with the Muppets, I'll be able to have plenty more of those with the next parts ;)

- Working on the next AniMat's Classic Reviews: Outside of the new video, what I was doing during the week was making the next ACRs. I already had started a bit last week, but then when I found the time to get into it after the script, I was able to complete the rest relatively quickly, so that's one video ready to come out soon. However, I also decided to jump into the next because what I drew from the Animation Hat is a very interesting choice, but one that has me excited. Mainly because I know that this is one really stand out. This won't be like the usual ones where I talk about the movie and how is it, but also in regards to other subject matter that will add more flavor to the video. It's a chance for me to dive into some controversy as much as the film did, and feeling like the filmmakers where this will be the kind where I won't be playing safe and not afraid to shock some people. When the time comes, you'll know what I mean.

So that's been my whole week and I guess that will wrap up most of the first month of 2023. It's been a good week of trying something new and setting a new standard for my channel, so now it's time to let this all flourish and ready to go big with the next videos coming up. After I'm done with this batch of reviews, I'll be preparing some unforgettable video. So, until next time...
