Update Blog - 9/3/22 (Patreon)

Honestly, I was supposed to have this week as a little break where I don't upload anything at all so that I can catch up with producing more videos coming in this new month, but with some new opportunities that came by, it changed a bit of my plans and ended up with a video for the week anyways. At least it's for a good cause to help an animated project in need. Anyways, here's what I've been doing this week.

- Released my Interview with Hallie Jane: So this all happened last week where I got called up by Hallie to help promote her new series she was co-creating at her studio that she's putting up on Kickstarter for help. It's been a long time that I've made a video to promote a kickstarter campaign, but they've ended up doing very well and met their goals like the documentaries Claydream and Hand Drawn. It was fascinating to listen to Hallie's story and how she's starting up her new animation studio with plenty of big dreams and actually bringing it to life starting with Defenders of Alodia. From the stuff I've seen and what we talked about, I feel like this has all the right materials to become a cult hit. Technically, this will happen no matter what. However, the kickstarter will help the process to be much quicker and for the team to have this be their true jobs while some (like Hallie) are still studying in college. - Working on the next Series Review: This was my big project of the week and I'm glad to have one major request finally done and ready for this month. Even if watching it only took me one day, going back to making a series review wasn't easy, especially with this one where this required some extra work to be done. Let's just say that this is another case where you'll end up seeing more than one version of this. However, even with all the craziness this showed me, I still did my best to make the review as strong as it could be, and I think I managed to get that done pretty well where I can see some people having fun with this. It was a wild ride, but soon enough, you'll see what I went through and I won't know what people's reactions will be, but as a newbie to this franchise, everything about this is something I just never know what will come out of it.

- Started Watching episodes for the next Series Review: Now with one series review done, I decided to get right into the next show for me to review. I did get a bit ahead where I even dedicated a whole day just binging some episodes of it and I"m so far decently ahead of the series. I'll say right now that this isn't a quick show to go through. With this request, I have to watch around 50 episodes of it, so this one will require time for me to go through before even starting the review. However, after the weekend, I'm planning to go through it a bit at a time while I'll simultaneously be working on another project. First, I gotta get through the episodes. How I'll take all that and make my review will be for another time and only when I'll get there.

And that was my week of watching a whole lot of anime (yes, both shows I talked about here are animes) and turning them into reviews. Next week, we'll be back to our regularly scheduled programming and got some more fun videos in store for you all. August treated me extremely well, so let's have that continue for this month.
