Oh cool! You’re reviewing Wallace and Gromit Curse of the Were-Rabbit next!

Joshua Copelan

Madagasgar, good times and great laughs. And we are getting Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. I'm so excited

Bryce Gundy

I’d have to say that Madagascar Hass to be one of my favorite DreamWorks movies right next to the first two Shrek movies, the prince of Egypt, and the captain underpants movie. This was actually released a year after Sharktale and I think that this movie is way better than that film

Nice review again and I believe Madagascar holds up well. And Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit is next!

Wait, Jeffrey Katzenberg voiced Rico? After all these years, why did I keep thinking it was John DiMaggio, like in the Penguins of Madagascar TV series?

Hunter O'Laughlin

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit was actually my introduction to Wallace and Gromit as a kid. Yes, it was the first thing from the iconic duo I watched and I’m honestly I’m glad it was.

I definitely wasn’t expecting that high of a score, but I do agree that Madagascar is a very hilarious and enjoyable film.

Hot take: I don’t think the Madagascar film is all that great or even at least good and I’m not taking it back. Yes I do understand it has it fanbase but to be honest, it not all that great that people see it. As a kid, I remember watch it a few times from in theaters and on dvd when it came out and while I do enjoy the I Like To Move It song, good animation, great voice casting, some interesting characters although the penguins stole the movie for me and enjoy the penguins adventure with the TV series and spin-off movie, and some slapstick jokes, but I don’t think it all that great. I can agree with people’s opinion in terms of a cliché story of I guess you can call it fish out of water story of bringing the animals to undisclosed location that they never been to, but the rest I don’t agree with Mat or people who are fans of the first film particularly with the pop culture references because I do think some doesn’t hold up well or even the American Beauty reference, which is also a DreamWorks film, as that one involves Kevin Spacey trying to hookup an underage girl and we all know too well about how badly it age when it come it comes to Spacey. Anyways, I guess you can call me either in the minority or something but all I’m saying it that okay. It not bad or good, I just don’t think it all that great, however at least when it comes to the Madagascar trilogy and Penguins spin-off film itself, I would personally take this over the Despicable Me franchise as the Madagascar franchise were ahead of it time and which I don’t mind visiting again as someone that really likes DreamWorks Animation. My opinion is sour with the first Madagascar film but I will at least be more positive upon talking about Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of a Were-Rabbit next month still.

If Mel Brooks could make an animated comedy, Madagascar would definitely be the closest film he’d make considering Madagascar’s humor does have a lot in common with Mel Brooks’ films other than the works of Tex Avery. If Chuck Jones had lived longer, he would have loved Madagascar. Definitely one of the best animated comedy films next to Aladdin and The Emperor’s New Groove. And I’m excited that Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is next! That film was my introduction to Wallace and Gromit when I was a kid and it was the best way to be introduced to them.

I absolutely love this movie, I remember back when I was a kid, Madagascar was one of the movie franchises I used to watch, an the first film holds up very well, the story is really well, the animation despite not holding up in some aspects still looks good by today’s standards, the characters are fun and enjoyable with great voice acting as well, and the humor is really well done and I would even say this is one of Dreamwork's funniest animated films. Overall Madagascar is a fantastic comedy and in my opinion one of Dreamworks's best animated films, on top of also playing a big part in the legacy of Dreamworks during the 2000's and early 2010's, even down to the point where there were even spin-off shows like The Penguins of Madagascar and All Hail King Julien. So the next classic review is Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, easily one of best stop motion animated films out there.

Definitely, I love Wallace & Gromit when I saw their three original shorts when they were compiled together on VHS. I was excited when I saw their movie when it came around that time.

Alan Oliva

Oh you guessed it! and on the Haunting Holiday at that as well. I Took Advantage of it! YES!

Alan Oliva

Oh I Always Loved watching this movie, along side with the Emperor's New Groove! Seriously I remember how it was a staple when it was out at the time, even at school was like a movie night for the students. Alway loved how this was hilarious to watch, and my most favorite bit was the "Sugar, Honey, Ice Tea" bit Which Realizing what he said now just adds to more hilarity on to the joke (At the time I thought he said was "Oh I Should've Had Ice Tea"). And One more statement to add....YEAH! My Next Request Is UP! And On Halloween I Might Add!

Hunter O'Laughlin

Oh boy! American Beauty! Saw that 5 years ago and just hated it. Granted, it’s not the worst Best Picture winner along the lines of Shakespeare in Love and Crash, but I still wonder, “Of all the films of 1999, why did THAT film have to win the Best Picture Oscar?”

Hunter O'Laughlin

It’s because of Madagascar I say Sugar Honey Iced Tea instead of the actual word. 😂

If “Shrek” was the “Despicable Me” of its time, then “Madagascar” my generation gap’s “Hotel Transylvania!”
