Awww yeah, BABY! Man, am I glad to you see talk about Wolfwalkers. My favorite film of 2020. You pretty nailed all the reasons why I love this work of art. Amazing review.

As someone who is a huge fan of Cartoon Saloon's animated films this film is no acception . It has a very fascinating story, it has absolutely gorgeous animation and it has very well written characters. And in my opinion it definitely proves even though Cartoon Saloon has made only three animated films, it still doesn’t change the fact that they are three of the best independent animated films in recent years. This film absolutely deserved all of the Annie Awards it got and it absolutely deserved that Oscar nomination for best animated feature. Although I am still unsure which film is the best animated feature of 2020, this or Soul.

That was surprising. I thought you would upload Arlo: The Alligator Boy today but Wolfwalkers? I’ll definitely take that! I saw this movie when you provide a link from TIFF for everyone to see at the time which I did along with paying $15 to see it and it really blew me away. My expectation was minimal since I only saw the teaser trailer and that it but it really blew me away with the story, the characters, animation, music, voice acting, writing, direction, and unexpected action packed at end to make it an amazing film. By the way, Sean Bean doesn’t get to die in this one! Sorry I just want to make a joke on this since he usually dies in movies all the time. Although I don’t like the villain in my opinion because I thought he was over the top and two dimensional but I get your perspective take. I love this movie a lot even more so than Soul. I love Soul too but it all about expectation for me and Wolfwalkers really blew my mind more than Soul since I find the latter pretty much expected considering from Pixar. I know Wolfwalkers will lose to Soul at the Oscars, it amazing film to watch and the only Cartoon Saloon animated film I have yet to see is The Secret of Kells. I saw Song of the Sea and The Breadwinner on Netflix, which the latter I saw this for class, but Secret of Kells was not on there but I hope I see it soon. Wolfwalkers is a beautiful movie so if it comes out on home media in the future, I’ll definitely looking forward to get one.
