DreamWorks should seriously continue to invest their resources onto producing original shorts. To quote Mat from his “Peanuts Movie” review: “All I ask is more of this... (“To: Gerard”) and a lot less of this (“The Boss Baby” franchise)!”

All these shorts sound awesome! I’ll definitely check them out. Please get well soon, Mat.

Thanks for clarifying your throat problem because I was wondering what was going on when I first watching this video. Anyways as of now, I only seen Burrow and If Anything Happens I Love You and I thought it was the strongest among the shorts I seen and it even made me cry. For the rest, I’ll see it eventually. For the honorable ones, I only seen To Gerald when I first got the 4K version of Croods The New Age and it looked great while very disappointed it didn’t get nominated for an Oscar. DreamWorks seem to be on the roll of making animated shorts and hope they continue with that streak. Very impressive so far with these shorts but I would have to pick If Anything Happens I Love You to win Best Animated Short to win since that one is the strongest and it needs to be talk about. Hope to see other shorts real soon!

I actually did do a marathon back in 2015 where I tried to watch all the animated short films that won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. And I did pretty well. I managed to watch a lot of short films such as the Silly Symphonies, the Tom & Jerry Shorts, the Merry Melodies, Mr. Magoo and the works of John and Faith Hubley that won the award. Sadly, I never finished watching all the award winning animated short films. I stop at around 1970. The only short I couldn’t watch was Winnie the Pooh & the Blustery Day because it wasn’t available on YouTube. It’s nice to see you talking about the animated short film category.

What Did you think we thought was wrong to your throat? I was thinking Vocal Nodules, it's like a sore throat except your body is still healthy and it makes you sound weird every time you talk. Which technically the cure is rather simple, rest your voice, drink lots of water, and breath moist air. Just saying.

Justin Monti

This was definitely an interesting video and a nice look at the animated shorts nominated this year. So I’m definitely interested interested to see which animated short is going to win this year.

Lady Tyler Bio Rodriguez

I gotta say these are some premium shorts. Hard to say which is best.

2023-07-12 05:14:52 Anyways For the animated shorts, Two I'd idol are really worth the win or at least for a nominee. Who ever would get it I would route for. "Burrow" is really adorable, like I love watching that short so many times with Soul and honestly is something to be really relate with working alone then to work with others, plus the animation looks something that really resembles to works Like We Bare Bears where nature animals has more of a cuter look and It looks great especially from Pixar's works. Now for "If Anything Happens I<3U" (as text term), I can't promise I would watch it the 2nd time, (I don't want to spoil) At first it just sad then gets cute with the silhouettes along with the sketch-like animation. Then the end comes in...I literally could't look at the credits afterwards, Like It's the most horrible ending you could ever put in, and yet it does seem to be very informative to know of the event that happen. With something so tragic you would wish this would be the last thing to win but to tell you looks more important to win. Best of Luck for the others for I yet to see or want to see if I can.

I just hope it’s nothing like he went through in 2019, I believe. I was worried.
