I found myself in several places this week. No, not in real life (that would be a bit much for these times), but online where I appeared on several different YouTube channels. Not sure if that happened before during my career here, but it's still fun to be collaborating with others and help them out on their project. So, with that said, where's what I did this week for them and for me.

- Released my review of James and the Giant Peach: It had been so long since I've fully seen this feature myself, but now revisiting this piece of 90s nostalgia, it actually was an experience that was...okay. Not great, but it does have its merits. In terms of movies based on children's books, this one is a little more unique where it tries too hard to be like a children's book to the point where it feels like it treats its audience like a clueless child and it doesn't do a great job with making James himself a character worth even caring. However, once the stop motion kicks in, that's where the good stuff that people remember happen. Fun bug characters, enjoyable songs and great animation to give it the entertainment it very much needed. Admittedly, I was debating rather to give this either a 6 or a 7 (or even right down the middle at 6.5), but after some long thought, it feels right to have it closer to a 7. Took more time than expected to create this one, but I think I'm happy with how this review came out. That and some of this week was spent on preparing the sponsored plug for DemoCreator. Took a few tries to make something they'd be happy about, but we finally made it to where we can be satisfied. But now with James done, it's time for me to review a new movie for next time, one that is much weirder than anything Roald Dahl can think up, Paprika. I always knew that I had to get more Satoshi Kon experience in me, so let's see if this one is as crazy as what people say.

- The 12 Disturbing Animated Features was released on That Creepy Reading: This was a collab that was months in the making. It was a few months ago that Creepy came in touch with me and brought up the idea of being a part of a list that talks about disturbing animated films. It's honestly rare when someone with a sizable channel would come and ask me if I'd want to do a collab, so I decided to say yes and jump into it. I helped him out with writing on some of them and put in my own additions for the list like Coonskin and Waltz With Bashir, along with discovering some new ones or seeing them for the first time like Felidae (Now I see why people are freaked out over that one). The result that Creepy made turned out to be quite a spectacular video, even bringing me back to when I talked about those movies like Where The Dead Go To Die and Watership Down and back when I talked about Disney's dark side like with the Other Villains and their Scariest Moments. It was also surprisingly emotional and I can feel like he really put his heart on this one. In case you haven't seen it, click here to check out the video.

- The Animated Segments of AL: Walt Disney Animation Studios + was released on ToucanLDM: For a while, this was something that I promised Logan I would do for a while, kind of like as a way of saying thank you for all the hard work he did for AL:WDAS+. I was the one who edited the video (which is obvious from my own inclusion of the opening and ending), and I always knew that it was a good idea to have all those segments on their own, especially when many of them are some of the most memorable highlights of the series. While not on my channel, consider this one as like a nice bonus feature for the series to present some of the more funnier moments (and the parts where the most people worked on it). Click here to check out the video.

- Created a new AniMat's Classic Reviews: While I still had to do a few more tries on editing the sponsored plug this week, this ACR review did take me less time to go and make, so the good news is that I had more time to work on a few other projects at the same time. I was a bit nervous at first because I thought maybe the movie would be too weird where it would be tough to write, but it did give me a sufficient amount of material for me to work with in order to put out a proper review. The real tricky part was avoiding spoilers on this one. Maybe there will be parts where I'm probably not clear enough on my arguments about certain elements, but that's because I wanted to be sure that any of the twists or big conclusions doesn't get brought up and ruin it for some. Hopefully, the review will still pay off when it comes out and see what others may feel on what I'll have to say.

- Working on another Collab Video: As if teaming up with Creepy and Logan this week wasn't enough, I got another collab project in the works right now. It's a bit of a similar story where the person contacted me to work on this project, but this time around, it'll be on my channel with a more familiar format. The most that I can say is that I've had many people demanding me to do this one, and I think pretty soon will be the perfect time to let it out and I'll be doing it in a way that some will be surprised that it'll happen AND that it will be bigger than they expect. Stay tuned, because an anticipated review will finally be happening (with some help).

- REMINDER FOR PATRONS $25+/MONTH: I will have my first episode of the Super Secret Patreon Exclusive Q&A Show ready and released for Monday the 19th. If you have a question you'd like me to answer for the show, message me and mention that it's for the Secret Q&A Show.

- REMINDER FOR PATRONS $50+/MONTH: This month's Discord Chat will be happening on Thursday the 15th, and Sunday the 18th and both at 2pm EST. Let me know if you're not available for either so I'll organize a quick chat.

And that was my week with collabs and many projects in the works and released. There are still others that I am talking too for a bunch of upcoming projects, rather they be for sponsorships or collabs, so don't be surprised if you see me be more a little more social in the YouTube circles and that my voice could pop up outside of my channel ;) So, until next time...

See ya later, dudes!
