Upon release, the alpha had a few minor bugs and errors, and one major problem--the game was too large to be served on the web by Itch.io.

After a few hours, I managed to correct several of the small bugs and I butchered the web and browser versions to make them smaller as a temporary fix. I can, and will, have a more permanent fix in the future though! Hex will have a web version! It's not gonna be an amazing experience because of assets loading and stuff, but I am committed to having it. I called this version 0.0.2.

However, some of the bug fixes I did messed up some other stuff, and the game actually was broken in v0.0.2, so I had to quickly make more fixes and push that, v0.0.3. I've since played through the game once on my desktop browser, once on my phone browser, once on the Windows app version, and I played for a few minutes on JoiPlay just to make sure that worked. Version 0.0.3 seems pretty stable.

But yeah, this is an alpha.

It's actually the first time I have released a new game while actually having an audience. I make a lot of updates, but this was really stressful, lol. I feel confident that the alpha is in a playable state for everyone now, though! So yeah, if you were having trouble with the game yesterday, I think you should be good to go now.
