Advanced Trait Lines (Patreon)

Combinations of high level traits now unlock powerful new advanced trait sets. For example, by acquiring Inspire Vigor 3, Semen Boost 3, and Master Semen Saint, you can unlock the Unclean trait set, which provides various bonuses based on your level of dirtiness.

After getting all the prerequisite traits, one trait from the advanced set will become available. After acquiring that starting trait, the remaining three immediately become available, so you don't have to get them all if you don't like them. They're less linear than a trait line, hence calling them a "set." They share prerequisites, but aren't interdependent beyond the first one.

There's also a Nymph trait set in the update:

On a basic level, these trait sets are sort of like classes--I know it's kind of a silly comparison, but indulge me for a minute. You acquire traits based on a certain playstyle, like causing partners to produce a lot of semen in an encounter, and after a certain point, you'll unlock more specialized traits that align with that playstyle.

Some fairly powerful abilities will be associated with these traits. You can see Orgasmic Suggestion above, which basically allows you to cause sexual partners, or even other NPCs in some situations, to have a spontaneous orgasm. There's an effect of similar mechanical power in the Unclean set you'll have to wait for the update to see.

I plan to add a few more of these advanced trait sets in the future, so these won't be the only two. Off the top of my head, one based around social skills and another based around alchemy come readily to mind. I may also expand the trait sets in the future as well.

Other New Traits

This new line of traits is also being added, along with undergarments as consumables. They work like heat potions, but much more powerful, and only for the player character. Using them triggers a brief scene where she "handles" the garments, boosting her lust by a lot.

There will be other ways to get garments, too, like the infamous laundry room in the barracks. If you aren't a fan of this concept, you can just ignore the traits and the player character will never try to take anyone's underpants.

Update Preview Soon™

I hope to have an update preview out this week. It should come with dates for v0.10's release, which should be next week. Still grinding out scenes for the new encounter type. Once that's finished, I should have a better idea of exactly how much time I'll need to finish everything else, and then I'll make the preview and nail down a specific date.

Any Walkthrough/Guide Authors Out There?

One other quick thing. If any of you would be interested in making a guide or walkthrough for Succubus Stories, it is a semi-common request, and I just don't have the time. If someone is interested in making one, I can provide you with any information you might need and answer any questions. The game is fairly complicated, and a guide for how to unlock requests and activities would probably be massively helpful for new players.

This is not a job offer, just to be clear. It will still be your guide, but I am willing to help out if someone else wants to take the initiative on it! If no one here is interested, I'll make a non-patron post after the update comes out and try to see if I can get anyone interested. Another option might be a wiki.
