In the patron edition of v0.10, and eventually in the free edition in some future version, you'll be able to choose between renders and hand-drawn art! When you start a new game, you'll be prompted to select an art pack, but this can be changed at any time from the settings menu. You will also be able to shut off the art entirely from the settings menu as well, if that's something you'd like to do (this was requested by a user on Itch.io, and seemed easy enough to add while I was at it).

When it comes to the art, the renders have about 5 CGs per activity (thought only some activities have CGs, obviously). A few activities have 3 CGs and a few have 10, but most have 5. The hand-drawn art set has 3 CGs per activity across the board, but otherwise all the same activities are covered. I don't think it's a noticeable deficit. When my patron funds have had a chance to recharge a bit, I may be able to commission more artwork as well, so I'll be asking for input on whether I should focus on more CGs per activity or on covering more activities.

I'm curious to see how people will react to having both options, like whether people will actually switch back and forth occasionally, or just go with one or the other. I've gotten some praise for the rendered CGs in spite of their relative simplicity and fairly low-res nature, so I'm also curious to see how those people feel about getting some 2D drawn art.
