Hey Patrons!

Doing an embedded doc on a game that's not even shown off its gameplay is a lot of work, but I'm super happy with how this episode turned out.

In it we cover how Hyper Light Breaker has effectively swapped genre to become an open world roguelike. The episode covers the technical side of that change, but also the politics involved in having to adapt the team and even communicate the change to their publisher.

It's been a wild six months covering the game's development and figuring out what our story for episode two was, but I'm really excited with how it turned out.

The cadence of these episodes is likely to stay similar to this as we visit LA periodically. Once the game is out in Early Access we'll be in a great spot to start focusing on the areas you and the fanbase are interested in. This is turning out to be a really fun and interesting project.

Let us know what you think!

Danny
