Hey friends.

So the past few days have been pretty hectic. In a good way. And for those not keeping score on Twitter, I thought it best to give you a heads up on all that's been going on.

Appearances:The PR train was going hell for leather the first half of this week. I was delighted to be invited onto a few podcasts to chat about Noclip and generally ramble about the state of games. If you're interested you can catch archives here:

Behind the Scenes: Most of my efforts have been off-camera this week with business housekeeping, budgeting, Discord tech support and talking to developers taking up much of my time. The talks with developers have been going well as I try plan ahead for the rest of 2016. I'm hoping that over the next few days some of those discussions will cement and we can start work on preparing for the first doc. I'm so excited about what we're hoping to cover. The next few months are going to be wild.

Coming over the weekend: Tomorrow morning I'll be posting the first Q&A for those patrons in the $5 and up tiers. In fact I received so many questions that a second Q&A will be going up on Sunday to address even more of them. Cleaned up the Discord a bit tonight, but will be doing more of that tomorrow as well as adding some functionality to Twitch.

That's about it for now. I'm gonna for a run to clear my head and look forward to seeing you guys react to the Q&A tomorrow. Thank you again for your support. It's amazing to me that you guys have committed to this journey with me.  The feedback from developers has me incredibly excited. I can't wait until we're two months in and already building a library of amazing docs.

It's happening :)

Talk to you tomorrow.

Danny

Hey, uh, I don't use Twitter and don't want anything to do with it. Please don't use a non-Patreon medium for keeping patrons up to date on what's happening with this project.

Beautiful work, Danny. I can't wait to see the results of this with the amount of freedom you have now.

Will there be an archived version for those $5 and up donors to watch later?

Did you mean the Q&A? It's not live - will be posted as a a video on here :)

Duly noted! I was weary of spamming this channel for every little appearance but I'm happy to add more on here for those not using social media.

Been following your work since the Escape From Mount Stupid and think it's brilliant. Just found what this this Patreon thing is all about. Signed up to support you. I have no doubt you will produce some great material. Best of luck!

Was very entertaining to see you on Dropped Frames Danny, great stuff! I'm positive that great things are going to happen in few months.

Jonathan London

Really excited for the Q&A, some of the questions were nuts!

The big interest from the developers surprises me. Apparently not only the public is interested in more meaningful game journalism. With the developers' full support I can't wait to see the results.

Awesome! I think everything is going great and we can't wait to see your first set of videos! Let's all together make video games. Journalism great again...wait what....
