Hey Patrons,

I'm really excited to share this one. It's been a labor of love over the past few months as I learned about the development of the game, fell in love with the game itself, had the opportunity to interview two of the leads and then craft this little doc.

Honestly it feels like a return to the original Noclip days. A 30 minute video packed full of info, with loads of attention to detail and hopefully a nice arc in there too. We even filmed the standups not that far from where our first Rocket League standups were filmed.

My intension recently has been to spend more time on each production to make them as good as we can make them. 2020 was a busy year and we put out more docs than ever before, but I recognized that it was having an effect on quality with some of the docs, and I was getting burned out a bunch too. So I hope you get to see the care and detail that was put into this one.

Aside from that this was a pretty therapeutic video to work on. Like many of you I am stranded very far from family and expect to be for quite some time more. Flight connects us to those we miss, and without it we are all that little bit more stranded. I thought putting this out on Thanksgiving, and leading up the holidays, would allow this little story to be a vector for those feelings. I'm not sure if the story and release of this game will resonate with people the way it did with me, but I'm hopeful it will.
