how do you remove the original detail of the shield? with a craft knife or a grinder?

Hey Alberto! I take my clippers and remove as much as I can, then bring in the hobby knife, followed by some sandpaper. I find the flexible sanding sticks to be very useful, they're called swizzle sticks if you want to search them out. I've found them on ebay as well a local hobby shop. Hope that helps!
