Let's take a look at recipe building and the proper order of operation. In this video I'm laying out the process used to paint my Stormcast. I'll be adding more troop types to this series but let's start with the humble poster boy of Aos, the Liberator.

I'll be making a separate video on the shield as it's used on a few troop types and is it's own step, separate from the soldier.

Please feel free to share your thoughts and questions below! The more questions asked, the more we learn. Cheers!

*Looks at small hands* Does this make me a child??? I like those shields, can't wait for the video. I must practice this type of restraint for painting my army. Always want to go in for more but I need to know when enough is enough. P.S. Nice Super Mario mug.

Great video! Discussing tabletop quality is gold. The blood made a huge and unexpected difference. Very nice. Gonna take that along with a project I have in mind. I'm curious about something else also; TMM with black shading as you demonstrated in the video vs wet blending the shadows in as you lay down the basecoat (ref. the Necron video) without more shading as a quick approach. When I shade black over metal it dulls things down quite a bit. How do you look at and vary between these two approaches? Now I need some coffee. Merry Christmas!
